That’s an interesting quote (though reported second hand). If they had no phones and no watches then how were any of them able to confirm the timings of the checks? I’m presuming someone can answer this for me!

I don’t wear a watch and I can usually tell what time it is to within a few minutes instinctively.   What has any of this got to do with phone masts or Madeleine’s disappearance?  Are,you all still trying to make it the McCanns wot dunnit?

No I was actually interested in phone masts and deleted texts. The link someone provided about the deleted texts also had the "no watches, no phones" quote attributed to the chap of Cambridge Analytica fame (CM).

Normally they would do checks between meals e.g. after they've had their starters they would perform a check before the main meal arrives - that makes sense (Russell and Matt left at 9:25pm after they finished their starters). The McCanns claim they checked every 30 minutes.
