His expenses were paid by Metado 3

http://madeleinefoundation.org.uk/Marcos%20Correia%20outburst.html

But Metado 3  were paid from the Find Madeleine Fund

...  and what  does that mean  ...  'his  expenses'   ?

Thank you Anna

There you have it, Icabod

His EXPENSES were paid by Metado 3

EXPENSES < nothing about salary !

Expenses usually means any money needed that is not salary or remuneration.

But what was this fellow  doing for Metado 3 that incurred  'expenses'  ?

He had divers dragging a lake in search for Maddie at something like £1000 per day and Mecado offered to help with expenses

Enough said.

because the mccanns were not criminally involved in Maddies disappearance and there is therefore no real evidence, you have to find anything to try and criticise them...like clutching at straws and trying to scrape the bottom of the barrel at the same time

Let's try again davel. EVEN FOR YOU IT SHOULD BE SIMPLE TO UNDERSTAND.

The mccanns have yet to be charged with any crime.

You do not know whether the mccanns were involved or not.

Amaral lost .  Obviously that judge didn't agree with him

It appears to me that the judge upheld the law.
Dr Amaral was not found to be culpable in any torture or the orchestration of it.
Sr Correia was not guilty of defamation because he was able to demonstrate he had been misled by his client (sound lawyer get out)

Indeed he did.

As I have said before, it also highlights just how difficult it is to prove libel in Portugal.

Again mccanns and supporters, take note.

Amaral brought a case of defamation..he lost...whichever way you spin it...not particularly important but let's have the truth

Did I actually say differently?
The important part is that the judge upheld the law in a country which, according to some posters on here, has a judiciary which is as bent as a dockers hook.

When a Portuguese poster says in 35 years he has never seen a successful appeal...sounds a bit strange....PJ seem to figure highly on amnesty torture site...these are two facts..not opinons

You are more likely to be bitten by a shark after eating ice cream.

You are more likely to be bitten by a Labrador than any other type of dog.

Those are two facts...not opinions..

Correlation is not the same as causation.
