Infact, no I take that back. Leave the Maddie thread up. we welcome posters here. but, it would be nice if they at least tried to have a look and comment on other sections on the board here and maybe try to get to know long term posters. Instead of locking them selves on the Mcann thread all the time. ya know, try to 'socialise' with the rest of us now and again. Its a bit rude not to, don't you think?

Quite.  They never socialized on the Ozzie Big Footie forum, they nearly wrecked it which was why the McCann thread was locked.  The main protagonist there knew nothing about the aim of the forum ie football, all he wanted to do was to drone on and on about his theories, his court cases, libel etc.  It became so boring the admin shut it off.  You can still read it but that's all.

All I know about it was that a mate pointed me towards footie and said I might like to join and comment.  But  it was all the same old, same old and I got bored.

A reminder to old and new alike that threads which are started for no reason other than to disrupt normal debate are expunged on sight.  Those starting such threads are then liable to have their membership revoked.  TY

We are not interested in old wars played out on forums which cater for one side or another but in promoting mutual respect and harmony.

What about people persistently bringing over blogs from outside?  This is a clear breach of forum rules yet its not being taken seriously.  I had to report one instance three times over the weekend before it was finally removed.  What's the point of forum rules if mods ignore people who consistently breach them?

Which one was that? That was so offensive? Theres blogs and theres blogs....if a blog produces factual information IMO its fine......

Dear John, on the Maddie forum there are two threads which purpose is abuse and only abuse, the ones about the emotions and support. Some forum members have pointed it out, yet the threads are still here. Maybe you should note your own advice too, and do something about it?

I agree, I PLAYED DEVILS ADVOCATE and tried to start a similar thread but to no avail.

Is there a reason why those threads are not being moved? the hypothetical ones.
