Note by way of clarification.

It is always unfortunate when members who have contributed so much in their own way to forum discussions decide to leave.  Friendships are often made on forums which can endure given the right circumstances.

We ask that when a member does decide to leave of their own volition that they are not discussed openly on the forum as they might wish to return at some later date. Please do not open a thread about them.

It is our experience that people sometimes make rash decisions and can say things in the heat of the moment which they would not otherwise have done.  We will always take this into consideration when authorising the return of any former members.

Please do not start threads in order to discuss members past or present.   Members can be removed for several reasons and includes being disrespectful and pompous towards the forum staff.

As an aside, I have identified some technical issues with the forum recently so be aware that it might be offline for short durations over the next few days as tests are carried out.  If you have experience technical issues recently please pm me.
