Was Annie targeted by a sex pest imposter?
« on: March 11, 2012, 11:07:42 PM »
Shortly before she died, Annie told friends she had met New Zealand-born internationalist Martin Leslie.

But Leslie has now contacted the family to tell them he never met her - leaving them convinced the man she met was a dangerous imposter.

Guje said: "Martin is back in New Zealand and told us he has not been in Scotland since 2003.

"Annie met this man twice in the summer of 2005, so somebody must be impersonating him."

Guje said Annie told the family she had met the man twice in Edinburgh - in a pub and a nightclub.

She added: "The guy knew enough about Martin Leslie's career and he even talked about his brother John, who also played for Scotland and had a bad knee injury.

"We now think this guy was telling a pack of lies.

"Shortly before she disappeared, Annie saw this man again at a rugby club. She told me he gave her a look that she said made her feel scared and uncomfortable.

"Annie told us she regarded him as a sexual predator and she was planning to cut off all contact with him.

"Now we want to hear from any other women who have been approached by this imposter.

"We believe he might have something to do with Annie's death."

The CCTV images released by the Crown Office show Annie, her trademark long hair tied back, at Prestwick Airport on December 4, 2005. She was due to fly to Gothenburg.

A malicious prosecution for a crime which never existed. An exposé of egregious malfeasance by public officials.
Indeed, the truth never changes with the passage of time.
