It is quite normal for the Telegraph and others to change the text in on-line articles without referencing them to the reader.  A recent example of this was yet another article in the Telegraph by Katy Brand in which she claimed that the McCanns marriage was over before making a hasty retreat some hours later.

Show me the original article with web address attached so that I can see the original.

There is no original article with the web address attached as it has been changed!
Any telegraph link will take you to the changed article!

People logging articles copied and pasted them as is when published.
