try it...I have ..its totally obscured by the drivers hands   ...arms...and the central air bag

anyone who has looked at it knows the idea that she read the speedo is ridiculous...its hard enough to see it as the driver
what if the cop didn't have one or both hands on the wheel?  He could have been texting, smoking, picking nose, etc.

Was it really called The Highway Of Death? and not The Highway to Hell?
Maybe it was just a bunch of Akker Dakker fans in a Combi having a laugh?
or maybe Hayseed Dixie to maintain the "moonshiner's turn" idea.

I am quoting your post simply to capture it.

After around 8 attempts to clarify a stupidly simple question you now appear to be claiming that you have sat in the back of a LH drive car, when a simple 'I have' the first time would have saved the forum more pain than having an appendix removed.

You are also claiming that in a Renault Megane, the speedo is obscured by an airbag and driver.

Here is what I am claiming.  Bollox.

Back over to you.  Post a photo of a Megane plus driver obscuring the instruments from the right rear and middle rear seats of a Megane.  You can't, because it doesn't happen.

As to why I know it's bollox, my experiment was conducted on the Megane we own, complete with a steering wheel airbag and a driver in situ.  The speedo is easily visible from 2 of the 3 rear seats.

Give it a rest with the Megane + obscured angle.  It is merely a big stick with which to beat you.

Try switching to the 'we don't know what car it was' angle.  Alice has provided a list of cars allegedly with poor visibility from the rear, and I have yet to check out most of them.

Doing my Mystic Meg impersonation, I predict we are not going to move on any time in the near future.

Could Kate see the speedo
To be more precise would she be able to read it
I took it for granted that posters would understand that it's no good just being able to see it
It's the ability to read it which is important
