There is to be a special re Madeleine McCann on Australian Channel 7 on Sun 23 April 2017 at 8.30pm local time.

A trailer is at https://www.facebook.com/7sundaynight/?hc_ref=PAGES_TIMELINE&fref=nf

Having watched the trailer, I doubt very much that anything new that is significant will emerge.

The programme is supposedly geo-blocked and I haven't a clue as to whether our workaround re geo-blocking works for any Australian channel.

Would it be possible for anyone in Australia to perform an act of kindness?

As I said, I doubt the programme will make any breakthrough.  But I am curious as to two questions.  First, is the broadcast high on fact or high on speculation?  And secondly, is it neutral, firmly anti-McCann or firmly supportive?

If you do not wish to post your opinion on open forum, a PM to me will be welcomed gratefully and treated as confidential.

Australian TV company claim to have 'major breakthrough' in Madeleine McCann case but WON'T hand evidence to police until the show has aired

Kate and Gerry McCann have urged the documentary-makers to hand over their evidence to police 'immediately', according to the Daily Star.
A spokesman for the family said last night: 'If the Australian TV show contains any credible, fresh lines of inquiry they should, of course, have been given immediately to the police.'
It was issued in response to a 40-second teaser video released yesterday which claims that a new line of inquiry could help finally solve the case.
The new evidence will be revealed on current affairs show Sunday Night, featuring an interview with original lead investigator Goncalo Amaral.

"All I'm going to say is that we've conducted a very serious investigation and there's no indication that Madeleine McCann's parents are connected to her disappearance. On the other hand, we have a lot of evidence pointing out that Christian killed her," Wolter told the "Friday at 9"....

I wonder if that's Amaral?

Featuring a top criminologist, a forensic scientist and the former lead Portuguese investigator, it claims to deliver a “landmark TV event”.

Can there be two 'top criminologists' associated with Madeleine's case?  Or even a top 'profiler' named Brown?

I will be very surprised if there is any new information from that stable ... but on the off chance that there should be, has no-one associated with the programme noticed that the Policia Judiciaria are presently conducting an active investigation, as are Scotland Yard; both of whom would be delighted for information leading to Madeleine's recovery?

So Brietta, once and for all, what if there was no abduction/kidnap or burlary ?

What then ?

So you don't believe the program will add anything either.

New Madeleine McCann TV documentary 'has found new lead in search for missing girl'

A teaser video for Australia's Channel 7's Sunday Night programme suggests a significant new lead in the case has been unearthed.

A new Madeleine McCann TV documentary has unearthed a new lead in the search for the missing girl, it has been reported.

A teaser video for Australia's Channel 7's Sunday Night programme suggests a significant new lead in the case has been unearthed.

Featuring a top criminologist, a forensic scientist and the former lead Portuguese investigator, it claims to deliver a “landmark TV event”.

The show, due to air on Sunday, claims it has discovered a fresh lead in the high-profile case.

And it says the lead could bring the search for the missing youngster - who vanished in Portugal in May 2007 - closer to an end.

It comes as the parents, from Rothley, Leicestershire, are bracing themselves for the 10th anniversary of Maddie's disappearance.

They cling onto a glimmer of hope that the little girl could still be alive.

Maddie, then just three years old, vanished from a holiday apartment in Portugal’s Praia da Luz on May 3, 2007.

She would now be aged 13, nearly 14. At the time of her disappearance, her parents were dining nearby with friends.

Earlier this week, a nanny who looked after Maddie told the Daily Mirror how Kate and Gerry were plunged into despair and panic when the horrifying truth she had vanished sank in .

The former child minder said she is still haunted by the image of Gerry desperately trying to find their missing daughter while she tried to comfort weeping Kate who cried: “They’ve taken her.”

A malicious prosecution for a crime which never existed. An exposé of egregious malfeasance by public officials.
Indeed, the truth never changes with the passage of time.

I have been reading the thread and consider that I have missed nothing.  I have also weighed it in the balance with the content of other threads which have taken the same route with three members penalised as a matter of course and goading which led to retaliation escaping unscathed.
Given that the ad hom has now been removed, it would appear someone disagreed with you on this.

Perhaps I'm being slow.  I can see the video, but not how to watch the programme in the UK.  Would you be so kind as to clarify?
