Oh But it doesn't.  The parents made a claim about a window and abduction without showing how that could have been achieved ,but dismissed out of hand a child leaving via an unlocked door which would have been easily achieved.

The question was for the PJ, not you anyway.

Only a complete idiot of a policeman would claim that entering an unlocked groundfloor apartment and taking a child would be physically impossible for someone with criminal intent, but then again we are talking about the PJ, so..,
