Is There A Connection With The Murder of Caroline Glachan?

On Sunday 25th August 1996 14-year-old Caroline Glachan was found dead near the west bank of the River Leven in Renton, West Dunbartonshire, Scotland.  She was last seen alive by a taxi driver at approx 12.15am on 25th Aug.  Her murder remains unsolved. 

For those of us who doubt LM's guilt or believe him to be innocent is there a connection between the two murders?

Similarities:

Aged 14
No apparent motive: no sexual assault or robbery
Intending to meet boyfriend
Found near rivers just outside city centres of Edinburgh and Glasgow connected by the M8

Just my opinion of course but Jeremy Bamber is innocent and a couple from UK, unknown to T9, abducted Madeleine McCann - motive unknown.  Was J J murdered as a result of identifying as a goth?
