So why enter illegally? what are they up to? America has every right to remove people they don't want and some do have associaitons with terrorist groups. IRA and there was a relationship with IRA,and Libya during a difficult time.

Many IRA murderers are still using the USA as a sanctuary from justice, helped by Irish republican sympathisers and anti British elements within American society.  Will Trump root out these criminals and send them back to Ireland to face their just desserts?

Only when pigs sprout wings and fly, which considering all the crazy things that have happened this year wouldn't actually surprise me now.

Indeed Stephen, That is why we need to walk away from that 'great bond', we have blood on our hands.

riff raf would also include, Phony Tony, mandleson, campbel and new opposition Jeremy and his band of traitors.

Corbyn is doing his best to undermine Brexit, he doesn't give a damn for Britain imo.

Neither does Farage, and his is all about his ego.

By the way, is he still 'into' Lithuanians ? 8(*(

Metaphorically or otherwise.

There are thousands of Irish citizens in the US illegally as they have overstayed their visa.
So, these Irish are top of Trump's "Deportation To Do" list are they?

"Mr Trump’s victory appears to have taken military planners by surprise, prompting Moscow and Damascus to postpone a long-planned  assault on the city while they assess the implications.

Russia and Syria were widely expected to launch an offensive against the rebel stronghold  after the US election on November 8, taking advantage of the lame duck period  between the departure of the Obama administration and the inauguration of his successor.

Fares Shehabi, an MP for Aleppo, told the Telegraph that it would be “preferable” to wait for president-elect Donald Trump to take office in January before beginning any ground offensive, in the hope of negotiating a political solution with a more sympathetic administration".

Trump empowers jewish son in law Jared Kushner...

Mr. Kushner, 35, the husband of Mr Trump’s eldest daughter, Ivanka, and an influential adviser to his father-in-law during the presidential campaign, had been planning to return to his private businesses after Election Day. But on the morning after Mr. Trump won, Mr. Kushner began discussing taking a role in the White House, according to two people briefed on the conversations who requested anonymity to describe Mr. Kushner’s thinking.

Mr. Kushner has already figured prominently in the tumultuous start to the transition. He was involved in the effort to oust Gov. Chris Christie of New Jersey, who as a federal prosecutor jailed Mr. Kushner’s father, Charles B. Kushner, more than a decade ago. Trump officials have systematically fired those Mr. Christie had selected for the effort. Transition officials have rejected claims that Mr. Kushner was involved in a payback effort and pointed to Mr. Christie’s troubles after two aides were convicted in the George Washington Bridge traffic scandal in New Jersey. They also suggested that the preliminary transition work had been subpar.

Mr. Trump’s desire to add Mr. Kushner to his administration gives weight to speculation that he intends to run the White House the way he runs his businesses, relying heavily on his children and delegating essential duties to them.

Jared Kushner, President-elect Donald J. Trump’s son-in-law, at Trump Tower in Manhattan on Sunday.

Ivanka Trump's father in law Charles Kushner (born May 16, 1954) is an American real estate developer, convicted felon, and philanthropist who founded Kushner Companies in 1985. He is the father of Jared Kushner, the son-in-law of and close adviser to President-elect Donald Trump. He has been fined over half a million dollars for violating federal campaign contribution laws, pleaded guilty to/was convicted of 18 felony counts for various crimes, served time in federal prison, and was disbarred from the practice of law in three states.

I see Sarah is on the list for Secretary of The Interior.
You have to admit Sessions has class. He now chairs the commitee that black balled him in the 1980s; how much of a result was that and not down to Mr DJT either.

Points from the last few days:
"Trump's education policy will not work".
Jeez man that is sad and has to be the death knell for The States. The previous ones, which was implemented by them wot knows a  lot more  than Mr Trump, have the USA lying 14th in the list of education among "leading" countries.
"Andrew Rawnsley reckons it is a disaster to have serial bankrupt in charge of the US economy".
The US is already in hock to the tune of $20 trillion. $7 trillion of which was added by the last administration. Could Mr Trump really do worse?.
"Donald Trump will slap a 45% trade tariff of China". No he will not because he does not have that power.
