Murdered Kate Prout's family beg killer husband to reveal where body is.
After the jury's verdict the family of Kate Prout pleaded with husband Adrian to tell them what he had done with her body.
The victim's brother Richard Wakefield, 59, said: "We would appeal to Adrian to tell us what happened to Kate and where she is because we would like to lay her to rest and say our goodbyes. Nothing will bring Kate back but we are pleased justice was done.
"It is a big relief that the trial has ended with this verdict and this will go some way towards allowing us to move forward."
Prout, 47, showed no emotion as the jury convicted him of killing Kate, 55, who was last seen at their home on November 5, 2007.
Police searched through animal waste at their £1.2million farm fearing Prout had fed former teacher Kate to the pigs.
The jury heard Prout had started an affair, fallen for the couple's house-sitter Diane Bellamy and wanted a divorce.
The day before Kate disappeared the couple rowed over their divorce settlement when Kate insisted she wanted £800,000, a sum which would have forced Prout to sell the farm against his wishes.
Prout did not tell police his wife was missing until five days after she vanished from their home, in Redmarley, Gloucester.
More than 50 officers plus divers, dog handlers and forensic staff searched woods, fields, two ponds, a reservoir, grain store and woodchip pile on and around the property.
Prout sent Ms Bellamy a text saying he loved her on the day Kate disappeared.

At least when one has a body one can mourn the death properly and give him or her a Christian burial. But to know that ones sister has been murdered and is either buried in some unmarked grave or has been disposed of in some other way must be really hard to bear.
If Adrian Prout did kill his wife he should come clean now and at least then he would have a chance of parole when the time comes round.

A good find Joanne but did they do a follow up programme as Adrian Prout later confessed to killing Kate and burying her body in the pheasant pens on the farm? His confession followed a failed polygraph test which was insisted upon by his new fiancee and the mother of his baby daughter, Debbie Garlick.
It was confirmed in the end that Adrian had indeed strangled Kate following a row at the farmhouse, the rest is as they say, history.

From the moment I started looking into this case I felt that all was not as it should have been. Adrian Prout made a fatal error in not disposing of Kates personal effects. No woman ever leaves home without them!
The police interview however was the final straw for me, his body language gave him away.
I have little doubt that Adrian Prout targeted Kate from the very beginning.

Were they among the fools who were advocating justice for Adrian Prout and making all sorts of nuisance claims about his murdered wife? Maybe they should be prosecuted too! ?? 8(0(*

In the re-runs they just put a page up at the end saying words to the effect of "Adrian Prout later confessed to murder and Kates body was found and he is now serving.....", it was on crime and investigation, they seldom do updated programmes.

At the very least they should hang their head in shame. Their sad gratuitous canvassing on behalf of killer Adrian Prout on their jointly run Wrongly Accused Person website was an affront to justice. If anything they wrongly accused Kate Prout of leaving home of her own volition and doing a disappearing act just to get back at her husband. We all know of course that this was a load of garbage and as they continued to slate Kate Prout she lay in her grave.
Did the Wakefield family ever get that apology from the terrible twosome? >@@(*&)

Something else which I found extremely interesting in the CI video was the constant reference to the 'house sitter'. Notice how they didn't identify this individual?
Inevitably, some will say that she was simply an innocent party drawn into a domestic squabble but I don't agree. Adrian Prout shared hundreds of texts with this woman prior to Kate's death so she knew dam well what the score was. If she was so innocent why did she stay in their employ when she so obviously realised what Prout was up to?

In a word, yes. He knocked her about a few times and threatened to throw her into an empty outdoor swimming pool on one occasion after nearly strangling her. He was arrested after that but due to a lack of corroboration he was never charged. Kate kept diaries detailing the incidents and these helped convict him in the end. In the end he did strangle her in the living room of the farmhouse.
After Prout confessed, one of the special cadaver dogs called Eddie was brought into the house and signalled a positive response for a corpse in the lounge. I believe Eddie was also used in the Madeleine McCann case.

What on earth did any woman see when they looked at Prout? A balding, desperate worm. Poor Kate. Lying under a pile of leaf-mould, while he fathered another child. And sucked that stupid, needy woman in.
