It's not true that she did nothing.

She monitored them regularly, and (distressed and worried as she was about Madeleine) made (I'm sure) a sound clinical judgement that the twins were not in danger.

The proof of the pudding is that the twins, today, are fine.

Clinical judgement when she was in a state of panic ?

That is illogical.

As to how the twins are now, how on earth would you know ?

No it's not.  The McCanns raised anxieties about possible sedation of the twins within days (or even hours) of Madeleine's abduction.

There is a clear distinction between a medical concern (for the twin's welfare) and a criminal concern (about the abductor's modus operandi),

Rubbish.

If they thought the other two children had been drugged, the presence of any drugs, including anesthetics could have been identified, unless of course, they had something to hide themselves.

If they had anything to hide themselves, they would not have raised the issue of possible drug-use in the abduction as soon as they did.

Then why didn't they pursue the tests ?

Your argument doesn't hold water, and if drugs were used, how would the mccanns know what they were ?

There were no clinical concerns.

There was a criminal concern

Simple as that.

The McCanns didn't mention the twins when they raised their concerns with the British FLOs some days later. What the McCanns asked was if there was any evidence of sedation being used to abduct Madeleine. Very slippery of you to suggest otherwise FM.

Of course they would. It was a fishing trip. Any sedation found could be blamed on the abductor.

Aside from in the hours after Madeleine's abduction there were no clinical concerns about the twins.

It was only after the palpably ridiculous notion that the McCanns might have drugged the twins (via a comment of Kate's father, either incompetently or fraudulently misinterpreted) that the McCanns became exercised about establishing that they hadn't drugs with the children.

You are not a doctor ?

and they had no way of knowing if drugs had been administrated, DID THEY ?

Stop changing the goalposts FM. Now you said they McCanns expressed concerns to the FLO about the twins being drugged. I proved that this was not the case. Now are you going to concede the point ?

Curiously enough, the McCanns are doctors and Kate describes that she monitored the twins.

Panicked as she was (about Madeleine) she checked the twin's clinical readings and saw nothing to her undue concern (about them).

Then (much later) they (the McCanns) were accused, via a misconstrued comment of the twin's granndfather, of drugging the twins and all 3 of the children and (naturally) wanted to set the record straight.

What is 'clinical' about putting your hand on a child to see if it's still breathing?

No, and that was the other thing, she kept going into the twins, she kept putting her hands on the twins to check they were breathing, she was very much concerned in checking that they were okay. But they were okay, I mean, they were fine, they didn't, they were asleep, but at the time it did seem weird, I remember thinking, you know, when the Police came they turned the lights on, there was loads of noise, obviously from the moment Kate discovered that Madeleine was gone, the screaming and the shouting and there was a lot of noise and they, they didn't, you know, so much as blink'.
