Daily Mirror misquotes Colin Sutton and has to pull online article tonight.

UK Justice Forum linked to the headline earlier on twitter.

But Colin Sutton made the following post before Mirror article was removed.

"This doesn’t represent my view at all - & is nothing like the short phone call I had with a Mirror journalist.  Something I shall not be doing again. For clarity,as I told him,  I believe that unless Grange is looking at lines of enquiry which it has so far ignored it should end."

I'm blocked from viewing his tweets. Can't think why someone who used to be paid to be unprejudiced doesn't like the tweets of a supporter he's never engaged with.

How embarrassing this episode must be for SY when one of their own makes such a public criticism of them.  That must be another first for the Maddie case.

Are you suggesting Sutton never said....the investigation should not be stopped if there are, active leads.... Are you suggesting the mirror made that up
