You also agree not to post any copyrighted material unless you own the copyright or you have written consent from the owner of the copyrighted material. Spam, flooding, advertisements, chain letters, pyramid schemes, and solicitations are also forbidden on this forum.

Note that it is impossible for the staff or the owners of this forum to confirm the validity of posts. Please remember that we do not actively monitor the posted messages, and as such, are not responsible for the content contained within. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any information presented. The posted messages express the views of the author, and not necessarily the views of this forum, its staff, its subsidiaries, or this forum's owner. Anyone who feels that a posted message is objectionable is encouraged to notify an administrator or moderator of this forum immediately. The staff and the owner of this forum reserve the right to remove objectionable content, within a reasonable time frame, if they determine that removal is necessary. This is a manual process, however, please realize that they may not be able to remove or edit particular messages immediately. This policy applies to member profile information as well.

You remain solely responsible for the content of your posted messages. Furthermore, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless the owners of this forum, any related websites to this forum, its staff, and its subsidiaries. The owners of this forum also reserve the right to reveal your identity (or any other related information collected on this service) in the event of a formal complaint or legal action arising from any situation caused by your use of this forum.

You have the ability, as you register, to choose your username. We advise that you keep the name appropriate. With this user account you are about to register, you agree to never give your password out to another person except an administrator, for your protection and for validity reasons. You also agree to NEVER use another person's account for any reason.  We also HIGHLY recommend you use a complex and unique password for your account, to prevent account theft.

After you register and login to this forum, you will be able to fill out a detailed profile. It is your responsibility to present clean and accurate information. Any information the forum owner or staff determines to be inaccurate or vulgar in nature will be removed, with or without prior notice. Appropriate sanctions may be applicable.

Please note that with each post, your IP address is recorded, in the event that you need to be banned from this forum or your ISP contacted. This will only happen in the event of a major violation of this agreement.

As most of you are probably aware the forum is experiencing a very high volume of posting recently so with this in mind.

Could I ask that any inappropriate posts or posts which give you reason for concern are reported by using the "Report to Moderator" button at the bottom of every post.  These posts are then reviewed and if unacceptable are deleted or edited.

Thank you.

Please be aware that we will not tolerate abusive posts.

Labelling members sick or ignorant or referring to posters as Mccannites does not help any cause.

It has been necessary to delete some threads and several posts due to the language and the accusations being used.  This is something which we are strongly opposed to but such posts are wholly unacceptable.  One thread in particular was deleted by a moderator last night on the basis that allegations of paedophilia were being mooted and promoted against one of the individuals involved directly with the case.  This is an unacceptable use of the forum and breaches our rules.  Please desist from making such libellous allegations.

Please avoid conflict and do not enter into prolonged arguments over matters which are speculative or cannot be corroborated at this time.  Everyone has a view on issues and that is to be respected.

As senior editor I wish to thank everyone for taking part in what has been a busy two weeks.   As it stands it has not been necessary to ban anyone for a breach of the rules so you are all to be congratulated.

Keep up the good work regardless of your personal views.

Members on a warning should be aware that attaining 60% level will incur an automatic ban.

The rules of this forum are very straightforward.  Please treat all members with respect, avoid conflict and do not enter into prolonged disruptive arguments over matters which are purely speculative and are based merely on personal opinion.

Warnings will be issued to members who break these rules and can ultimately lead to a ban.

We should also point out that reposting personal messages is not acceptable practice.  Anyone doing so will have their account deleted.

The only way to maintain the smooth running of the forum is for members to abide by these rules.  Dissent is not an option!

Starting threads simply to make nuisance will not be tolerated as will provocative posts incorporating taunts aimed at other members and admins.

With the continuing hearings in Lisbon being a hot topic we have noticed that some members (recently registered) are only interested in disruption albeit subtle at times.  We have issued warnings to those individuals as appropriate.

Be in no doubt that if this continues we will ban members where necessary.
