You are right of course.  Corbyn actually believes he did well getting his message out there.  They just have to try a bit harder next time.
yeah, it was all somebody else’s fault that Labour didn’t win the election, those beastly Jews probably had a lot to do with it!

Such a pity he didn't get The Jews on his side.  Oh, wait a minute.  Wasn't it The Russians who invented The Pogroms?  No wonder they are afraid.

Do you seriously believe that the Labour members who voted in that waste of space Corbyn and going to turn around and vote in a centrist moderate leader like Blair anytime soon?  No, they will vote in another not very bright Corbynista and they will lose the next election too, which means 10 years more of Tories.  I was right about Corbyn and I’m pretty sure I’ll be proven right about this, unless a miracle happens and Labour party membership received a sudden and massive influx of sane individuals plus a candidate with the broad appeal of a 1997 Tony Blair.  They’d better hurry up though!

I agree they have to go: Corbyn and the "Corbynistas ", but it is certainly not impossible for a more moderate and sensible leader to emerge. It might not be soon, but , IMO, it will happen.

And, who knows what could happen when Boris' "honeymoon period" is over, which will happen at some time. He will release us from the EU, but that doesn't necessarily mean a happy ending. A good number of people will (IMO) come to realise that they are no better off outside the EU, that jobs will disappear, immigrants will still arrive, goods may become more expensive, etc.

I will be watching with interest------and I am prepared to  admit having been unduly influenced by my Remoaner husband!!!

Strange how no one seems the least bit fussed with ant-semitism now it’s served it’s purpose. Not a word from Johnson or Patel condemning the anti-Semitic graffiti in London...Corbyn, of course, did. Anti-semitism has, of course, always been more prevalent on the right as has been ably demonstrated by the arrest in New York of a suspected Nazi sympathiser.

The terrible irony of the smear campaign against Corbyn and Labour is real Jewish people are in danger of real anti-semitic attacks but not from the left but the right who have wholeheartedly embraced Johnson and his right-wing cabal, and that is being terrifyingly ignored.

If Jeremy was such a friend of the Jews then he should have sorted this out on his watch.  The buck stopped with him.  His efforts such as they were, were too little too late.  As in all things, he failed and his party pays the price.

Jeremy Corbyn has been accused of presiding over a cover-up of institutionalised [ censored word]emitism in the Labour Party in an “utterly damning” dossier.

Allies of Mr Corbyn repeatedly intervened to water down sanctions against those “on friendly terms” with the leadership, according to a submission from the Jewish Labour Movement (JLM) to the Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC). In one case the party’s disciplinary body was told to lift a suspension because “JC [is] interested in this one”.

The dossier, which includes evidence from 70 whistleblowers, describes 11 occasions when Mr Corbyn had “associated with, sympathised with and engaged in [ censored word]emitism”.

Voters were urged to “look to their conscience” before voting Labour by the JLM, which compiled a 47-page report of Jews being called “subhuman”, “yids”, “cockroaches of the Jew kind” and “child killers”.

Party activists denied the Holocaust, jeered Jewish members and accused Jews of controlling the banks and the media, in a series of incidents stretching from when Mr Corbyn became leader to this September’s party conference.

The dossier claims that since Mr Corbyn became the Labour leader there has been a “relentless flow of [ censored word]emitism” and that there is “overwhelming evidence” that it is “pervasive at all levels of the party”.

Labour’s response to claims of [ censored word]emitism “has been characterised by (i) denial; (ii) discrediting of victims (iii) defence of perpetrators; (iv) cover ups and (v) active victimisation of those calling out [ censored word]emitism”, the dossier claims.

Lord Falconer of Thoroton, a former Labour justice secretary, told The Times: “I have the gravest, gravest concerns in the light of the [ censored word]emitism problems. It’s a leadership issue which the leadership should have dealt with. I believe [the dossier] to be utterly damning of the Labour Party. It shows strong evidence of an institutional attempt to sweep under the carpet evidence of [ censored word]emitism.”

Rebecca Long-Bailey, the shadow business secretary, admitted she had not read the leaked submission in full, but had seen media reports. She told Today on Radio 4: “The Labour Party would never condone any [ censored word]emitic behaviour in the way outlined in that report. We didn’t deal with it quickly enough but we’ve now sped up the process, we’ve made sure we have a more robust process in place.”

Peter Mason, national secretary of the JLM, said voters would have to “look to their conscience” before voting for the party to which it has been affiliated for 99 years.

Sam Matthews, the former acting director of Labour’s governance and legal unit, pointed to an incident where the membership secretary in South Tottenham is alleged to have objected to applications from 25 orthodox Jews applying for membership and required home visits to assess them.

Mr Matthews accused allies of Mr Corbyn of “daily interference in the process” of investigating complaints about [ censored word]emitism, saying Labour suffers from a “rot that runs all the way through the party”. He said: “I witnessed first-hand the complete failure of the policy processes to adequately deal with anti-Jewish racism.”

He said he saw a flood of [ censored word]emitic new members after Mr Corbyn fought off a leadership challenge in 2016, saying the party had “a problem of culture that can only be challenged by leadership. A leadership that is willing to be uncompromising about rooting out almost five years of a sickness.”

Mr Matthews has previously said he contemplated suicide over the problem and is taking legal action against the party over its response to his criticism of its handling of [ censored word]emitism this year. He accused the leadership of a “campaign of lies and misinformation” about their handling of [ censored word]emitism.

Yesterday a video emerged of Mr Corbyn greeting an Islamic preacher convicted of using the “blood libel” that Jews kill children for their blood. He was seen shaking Raed Salah’s hand after a 2012 talk in which he called him an “honoured citizen”.

Sadiq Khan, the mayor of London, told LBC: “The Labour Party has fallen woefully short and I think we, as a party and people in senior positions, like me, must apologise. Not just to the Jewish community, but all decent people, for the way our party has failed to get a grip with this serious problem.”

A Labour Party spokesman said: “[ censored word]emitism is an evil and we are committed to rooting it out of our party and society. We are fully co-operating with the EHRC. The allegation about numbers of outstanding cases is not accurate. And it is categorically untrue that anyone has been instructed to lie.

“The Labour Party is not institutionally [ censored word]emitic and complaints relate to a small minority of our members.

“We are the only political party that has published figures on cases of [ censored word]emitism, and we regularly account for the work we are doing to tackle it.

“We have significantly reformed our procedures over the past year, including recently adopting a proposal by Jeremy Corbyn for rapid expulsions, which allows individuals to be expelled within a matter of weeks in open and shut cases.”

Litany of abuse and threats

• Jeremy Corbyn is accused of 11 instances in which he “associated with, sympathised with or engaged in [ censored word]emitism”, including defending a Holocaust denier and the creator of a mural of hook-nosed bankers; laying a wreath on the grave of terrorists who killed Israeli athletes in 1972; and saying that Zionists “don’t understand English irony”.

• A party supporter listed 22 examples of [ censored word]emitic abuse directed at him in Labour Party meetings, including being called “a Tory Jew”, “a child killer”, “Zio s..m”, being told “Hitler was right” and threatened with physical violence.

• The document claims that at last year’s party conference “one member described how he shared a breakfast table with two delegates who ‘agreed that Jews were subhuman’ . . . and should ‘be grateful we don’t make them eat bacon for breakfast every day’”.

• A parliamentary candidate witnessed a member telling a Jewish councillor “to go home and count their money” after they were deselected.

• Social media posts on platforms linked to the party contained the Star of David dripping with blood, caricatures of Jewish people with exaggerated hooked noses, people being knifed in the back by Jews and use of words such as “kike” and “yid”.

• One member “made a litany of [ censored word]emitic posts on social media, including referring to cockroaches of the Jew kind, that Jews were organising white genocide, Rothschild conspiracies [and] allegations that Zionists ran the concentration camps in the Holocaust”.

What would you consider Corbyn called factions he was trying to get to the negotiating table ?

I noticed, as usual, that you failed to address my points.

I don’t have time to fully answer your rather crude post atm but I’ll leave this here for you to chew on.

What was crude about my post and why should I answer ANY of the points made in your posts when you don’t bother doing so for mine?  Check back, you ignored every point I made.  I am seriously not interested in discussing this any further with you.  Jeremy’s failures with regard [ censored word]emitism in the Labour Party are a matter of public record.  It’s just one of the reasons why his was the worst election performance since Michael Foot.  You can carry on being a Corbyn apologist for the rest of your life, it won’t change a thing.  Ta ta!

Of course you are not interested in discussing it any further. Why would you want to publicly defend a country who the U.N. has all but accused of war crimes ?
