Yes he knows exactly how she died, hence the reason he said she could be alive.

Wolted originally said Maddie was dead.... He then accepted he didnt have absolute 100% proof of death but what evidence they had would show death almost certainly followed.

Exactly the same as Rui Pedro. There is no absolute proof of his death but it can be assumed he died after the abuse he was subjected too
