You never do. The concept of  explanation is totally alien to you.
I believe everything. And l believe nothing.
I suspect everyone. And l suspect no one.
I gather the facts, examine the clues... and before   you know it, the case is solved!"

Yes he knows exactly how she died, hence the reason he said she could be alive.

But he didnt say... She could be alive..
He said... Theoretically.. She could be alive

Theres a big difference... Perhaps you think they are the same

But if Wolter knew she was dead, he wouldn't say she might theoretically she might be alive, therefore he doesn't know.

Or even if she is dead - although she almost certainly is.

Wolted originally said Maddie was dead.... He then accepted he didnt have absolute 100% proof of death but what evidence they had would show death almost certainly followed.

Exactly the same as Rui Pedro. There is no absolute proof of his death but it can be assumed he died after the abuse he was subjected too

I disagree dear Dave. If one knows for sure how someone died. then it is impossible that said person can still be "theoretically" alive.

I presume you are not familiar with the Rui Pedro case.. A child sbducted in Portugal. Assumed to be dead after photographic evidence of his abuse was found.
