Given these are the company objects for MF:LNSU Ltd:
Objects
2B. The objects of the Foundation are:
2B.1.1 To secure the safe return to her family of Madeleine McCann who was abducted in Praia da Luz, Portugal on Thursday 3rd May 2007; and
2B.1.2 To procure that Madeleine's abduction is thoroughly investigated and that her abductors, as well as those who played or play any part in assisting them, are identified and brought to Justice.
2B.2 If the above objects are fulfilled then the objects of the Foundation shall be to pursue such purposes in similar cases arising in the United Kingdom, Portugal or elsewhere.
There would be no need to ring fence funds for searching as that is the company objective.
It's just PR gobbledegook, bullshit baffles brains stuff I guess.
Looking at the 2013-2014 accounts the campaign costs are taken from the ring-fenced funds. Legal costs are taken from the non ring-fenced funds. That suggests that the ring-fencing is to separate the two. That could be at the suggestion of the parents with the rest of the directors agreeing or vice versa. Perhaps a limit has been placed on the funds available for legal expenditure from the fund? After all, the fund is not involved in any legal actions, the McCanns are.
