The normal procedure is to obtain quotes from several people, rather than one.

It's called good practice and common sense.

A bit like checking for a plumber, you don't get one quote, you get several and you check references.

Meanwhile, as you have evaded the question, what did metardo 3 promise ?

But how do you know they didn't do all of that?
