Which doesnt negate their being charged and sentenced, even if suspended, its out there, in the uk alot get away, no charges, and the ones that do get taken to court, often let off, so no different next

You are making unsubstantiated statements ... please provide cites to back up your claim or remove it; thank you.
"All I'm going to say is that we've conducted a very serious investigation and there's no indication that Madeleine McCann's parents are connected to her disappearance. On the other hand, we have a lot of evidence pointing out that Christian killed her," Wolter told the "Friday at 9"....

Brietta posted on 10/04/2022 “But whether or not that is the reason behind the delay I am certain that Brueckner's trial is going to take place.”

Let’s count the months, shall we?

The unsubstantiated allegation you made was  " ...  in the uk alot get away, no charges, and the ones that do get taken to court, often let off, so no different next" suggesting that British police are above the law.

Like any organisation there are bad apples;  surprisingly some who have a criminal conviction are allowed to join up;  you have made a generalisation and must substantiate it.

For example, the guy in the following quote should be really quite miffed to discover that as a police officer he should either have had no charges brought or that he should have been let off after going to court, according to your version of events.

**snip
The highest-ranked officer to have been convicted in the three-year period was a detective chief superintendent at West Yorkshire Police.
He was sacked from the force for gross misconduct last year after admitting driving at nearly twice the legal alcohol limit.
He was banned from driving for 12 months and fined £1,000 at his court hearing last year.
He had failed a roadside breath test after being stopped by officers and admitted refusing to provide a further specimen.
The court hearing was told he drank two pints and then provided a roadside reading of 60 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35.
His lawyer had said Knopwood was under a lot of stress and had great responsibility at the force as the head of the unit responsible for investigating major crimes.

It was just a rumour that the PT authorities had cleared the McCanns, the same as the rumout that they weren't investigating them in their reopened investigation. I have asked for cites for the second statement and got one newspaper article.

The McCanns were not 'cleared'.

They were unjustly accused, and hence had no need of being 'cleared'.

Copying a cite from Brietta... from quite some time ago...

"The Judiciary Police (PJ) reopened the investigation concerning the disappearance of Madeleine McCann and they guarantee that this time the parents of the girl who disappeared in Praia da Luz, Algarve, days before her fourth birthday, on May 3, 2007, are not suspects."
