Could very well be Sadie.  Mass murder on a Tunisian beach, in the heart of Paris or on the Nice waterfront, who would have believed it a few years ago.  Let's face it, there aren't that many places left in the world which are free from risk.  Give me a week in Blackpool any time.

Thomas Cook has cancelled all holidays to Tunisia up until May 24, 2017....Sharm is a ghost town ....and you think nothing has changed

So is this because of Brexit and the value of the pound changing against the Euro ... or some other reason such as you guys suggest?

I was in Alexandria a couple of weeks ago as it happens.  Usual crowds of people, cafes, restaurants, markets full of people.

Alexandria will always look busy but there are few tourists about these days. The valley of the Kings is just a bit too risky since the last murders.

British tourists are very aware of what is going on and will be making or changing their plans accordingly.  Who wants to go on holiday and get blown up or riddled with bullets at check-in, who wants to get mown down on a seaside thoroughfare or who wants to be shot on a beach in Tunisia or on expedition to Tutankhamun in Egypt?

Yes, London in particular is a prime target which has already seen dozens of deaths at the hands of homegrown terrorists.   And definitely an ongoing target as has been confirned by Scotland Yard following the discovery and thwarting of several potential threats.

It has all happened before sort of. Folk were either not paying attention, were not around or were completely disinterested.
I went to The States for a month in 1969. Yer darlin' bleedin' Harold had not long since devalued the pound and made a law that you couldn't take more than fifty one quid out of the country and just for more excitement 82 aircraft were hijacked that year. Rumour has it I am still alive with a few squids in me pockets so all's well.
Living is bloody risky and you will not get out of it alive
