He wants to stop throwing money at NATO. [NATO ceased to have a real function after the Berlin wall came down and Gorbachev had his days with glasnost and perestroika]
He wants to stop wasting money on climate change.
He wants to talk to Putin rather than lob one in on The Kremlin.
He wants a bit of protectionism for American jobs.

Trump is essentially a moron who would never had a chance if another democrat had won.

Now the monkeys who voted for him,  quick evolution joke there, will have to deal with the consequences.

He's also lowering taxes for all, substantially, whilst pledging to build all this new infrastructure whilst also pledging to undertake a repatriation programme which will cost hundreds of billions, oh and a wall which will cost more hundreds of billions, plus he's going to slap huge tariffs on imports and pull out of the WTO and we don't think he's going to plunge his country into deeper debt and depression?  OK, if you say so!  Let's see how popular he is in 4 years time.  He will have to make good on a HUGE number of these costly promises in a short space of time, either that of bank on doing away with the democratic process altogether by the time 4 years is up.
