No offence intended to those who seriously think that Trump is the best invention since sliced bread.

However, I'm not convinced that he is capable of comprehending that running Trump, Inc., or being the Apprentice permanent star simply isn't the same ball game (perhaps he can understand that?) as being the President of the United States.

BBC's Laura Kunessberg asking loaded questions of President Trump yesterday.....

"Mr President, you've said before that torture works, you've praised Russia, you've said you want to ban some Muslims from coming to America, you've suggested there should be punishment for abortion.

"For many people in Britain those sound like alarming beliefs. What do you say to our viewers at home who are worried about some of your views and worried about you becoming the leader of the free world?"

........

Dear Laura Kunessberg....

1) Torture works....

2) What about Russia?, you racist.

3) Muslims did 911....

4) Abortion is murder....

LOL. I doubt that you actually believe 1/10 of what you state (on any subject on here).

I like him because he draws from the hip and can say whatever he likes. For too long America has been run by feeble Presidents like Clinton and Obama.

You said: I like him because he draws from the hip and can say whatever he likes.

Interesting, Angelo.

That's largely true of most 5-year-olds.

So far, I can't quite see how he's been "draining the swamp".

It seems more like he's swamping the drain...

And... on the Syrian refugee crisis, I agree that no one wants terrorists masquerading as refugees, obviously.

However, I don't quite understand what he's suggesting as extra measures for a country that has some of the most stringent measures anyway.

1.  Are you a Muslim ?

2. Are you a member of Isil or any terrorist organization ?

Look at all of this week like it's the start of shakedown cruise of a newly commissoned warship.
So far he is just showing who is the captain and to whom he is prepared to delegate

Gags? they seem to revolve around US Government Depts which should be gagged. We use the Official Secrets Act. One is only released from that by death.

Unless the information divulged causes a risk to national security, why on earth should governmental or non-governmental agencies be gagged from press releases about their work?

Seriously?

How does that compute with the nebulous concept of transparency and accountability?

Try putting a squad of blokes to work on a government establishment site today then you'll find out all the things "Well it couldn't happen in the UK" that can and do happen.

He looked extremely uncomfortable yesterday with the foreign press.

Alice, loads of us could be bound by the Official Secrets Act due to obligations from previous employment.

That isn't the issue: since when have agencies in themselves been gagged from issuing press statements about their work?
