I think those women are part of their fan base, who are very loyal. Tyber still sings with the band, and when they appeared at Wembley in May Si did a guest appearance also.
They'll never be famous now, but the Dualers still seem to be making a living.

Pretty Flamingo by Manfred Mann was supposed to be of the same, Puff the Magic dragon was thought so to, but Peter Yarrow of Peter, Paul and Mary told the story in later years it was nothing of the sort.
