Title: Jim Carr's letter to Robert Boutflour - Thursday 15 August 1985
Post by: John on August 13, 2012, 01:49:01 PM
Jim Carr was the manager of Osea Road Caravan Park in August 1985 and his son, PC Robert Carr was a police officer with the Metropolitan Police in London.

According to Jim Carr's letter, his son Rob went to see the police at Witham on Wednesday 14th August 1985, the same day that Jeremy Bamber also went to see them.

Carr was most upset that he nearly bumped into Bamber as he was shown out of the police station.

It appears that the young met officer wasn't nigh impressed by the efforts of Essex constabulary.    >@@(*&)

He also makes a comment about Jeremy's hurried and premature return from Australia/New Zealand.  Apparently the family were all aware of his extra curricular drug dealing activities.   @)(++(*

That £100 cash by registered post from Scotland which he received regularly was assumed to be for the purchase of cannabis from the farm.
