I'm just messing Timmy, don't lose your pipe & slippers over it  8(0(*

I quite like some of the older stuff really, I sometimes listen to Radio 2 in the car, but don't tell anyone.

Here, chillax... (try not to think of Charlie Brooker's Newswipe when you hear this)

'My Sweet Lord' too of course ..... George was great too. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=pl2IJql7-CU

There will never be another Beatles .... after Elvis and Michael Jackson are long forgotten The Beatles will be known all over the world ... like Mozart!

Some songs you never tire of 'My sweet Lord' being one of them.

I have often wondered which modern day artists, if any, will stand the test of time.  I cant really think of any other than the Beatles.  Now even the likes of Coldplay just seem to fade.

No not quite hundred years old  8)><(

I hadn't heard of Slipknot.  Just looked them up - they're not a new band - formed in 1995.

Interesting lyrics

Please note forum mates I have blatantly been called Timmy! An obvious declaration of generational war and so Spammy I am going to hit you back with this, an Eddie Cochran classic done in a slightly different way! No doubt you will hit me back with one of your favourite Coldplay 'anthems'!

And for all our Blue forum spies in the mist, I have a little tune that always makes me think of certain members of the Bamber fan club!

Why don't those of you arguing about each others' musical tastes set up your own YouTube Favourites channel then you can listen to your hearts' content without inflicting painful ear damage on the rest of us?

Tablets and laptops are useless though... you need a Woofer and a couple of Tweeters on a proper PC to get the best sound reproduction.

No, you need vinyl, a turntable, a good amp and a decent pair of speakers, to get the best sound.
