Seeing as all the PIs employed found nothing to bring back Madleine Mccann then I would say it was money lost

Whether it was worth it is a bit of a pointless question as one isnt to know beforehand

With hindsight it was worthless as neither thr Mccanns nor the police have found any value in the PIs work
