The Government has already said it will repeal all ECHR legislation and replace it with those parts appropriate to the UK.  No doubt the UK will leave the ECHR too after Brexit from the EU.

That will necessitate leaving The Council of Europe of which UK was a founder member.................... &%+((£

I think they are only going to amend, among others, recent Human rights laws which have found criminals being awarded citenship, with benefits, due to the right to family life etc.. Not being able to deport gang lords from Africa and the Middle East.  Bein a humanitarian means being just and fair to those who provide the funds for humanitarian needs not to rob and rape them of their freedom of speech. Something the left wingers loath and detest.
