Some astute insights there Darkman.

It's interesting with regards to Woffinden changing his mind. He was also heavily involved with the 'free hanratty' alleged miscarriage of justice and campaigned for many years for DNA testing of the victims underwear. When at long last they finally did send the underwear to the lab for testing, lo and behold whose DNA did they find there? our very own James Hanratty. Bob Woffinden then refused to accept the results and cried foul. So it was quite a U-turn in the Bamber case but perhaps he learned his lesson
