It's a headline to sell newspapers

Yap.
If Arguidos start facing court criminal proceeding in the coming months it might take long for Andy to retire.  This is another side of the coin, Andy have done the job.

I am very curious about whether the seven possible suspects had been in a communication that night and what is that connects them?

I was hoping there would be an article on that tonight..

Madeleine McCann police fly to Portugal to quiz 11 key witnesses

9 December 2014

POLICE investigating the disappearance of Madeleine McCann were set to re-interview key witnesses yesterday.

Scotland Yard detectives flew to Lisbon to help Portuguese officers question 11 people about the night Madeleine vanished.

British-born Robert Murat is reportedly among them.

The expat businessman has said he is happy to co-operate with efforts to find out what happened to the three-year-old.

The British detectives will sit in on the question-and-answer sessions, to be conducted by Portuguese officers in Faro.

The interviews are the latest stage in the Yard’s multi-million pound Operation Grange, and will mark the start of a major week for Madeleine’s parents Kate and Gerry McCann.

In a Lisbon court tomorrow, lawyers are expected to make their final speeches in a £1million libel action brought by the McCanns against former police chief Goncalo Amaral over claims he made in his 2008 book The Truth Of The Lie.

He headed the investigation into Madeleine’s disappearance from a holiday apartment in Praia da Luz in the Algarve in 2007.

Allegations in the book led Mrs McCann to contemplate suicide as she struggled to cope with what she called the ex-police officer’s “smear campaign”.

Tormented by “dark thoughts”, the ex-GP spoke to psychologist Alan Pike about killing herself “as an option to end the trauma”.

But Mr Pike told the court: “It was an indicator of how she felt rather than something she ever intended to do.”

The stop-start nature of Portugal’s judicial system means the McCanns will not know if their action has succeeded until February at the earliest.

Operation Grange was set up in 2011 after the McCanns, both 46, from Rothley, Leicestershire, appealed to Prime Minister David Cameron and Home Secretary Theresa May.

So far, it has cost £7.3million.

Last Friday, the murder squad detective in charge of the inquiry announced he is retiring after 30 years’ service.

Detective Chief Inspector Andy Redwood, 49, will leave before Christmas and Detective Chief Inspector Nicola Wall will take over.

She will be formally introduced to senior Portuguese officials in the next few days.

A malicious prosecution for a crime which never existed. An exposé of egregious malfeasance by public officials.
Indeed, the truth never changes with the passage of time.

More bull from the Express,

'Tormented by “dark thoughts”, the ex-GP spoke to psychologist Alan Pike about killing herself “as an option to end the trauma”.'

Pike isn't a psychologist.

As to km's mental state.................................

According to BBC lunchtime news one of the witnesses is a Brit man from Lagos who arrived early this morning ... a woman witness is to be interviewed in Britain in connection with this man.
"All I'm going to say is that we've conducted a very serious investigation and there's no indication that Madeleine McCann's parents are connected to her disappearance. On the other hand, we have a lot of evidence pointing out that Christian killed her," Wolter told the "Friday at 9"....

Scotland Yard detectives have arrived in Portugal to begin a fresh round of interviews over Madeleine McCann's disappearance.

DCI Andy Redwood marched into Faro Police Station at 9.30am this morning for three days of questioning with 11 witnesses. The Operation Grange chief was accompanied by two colleagues.

He declined to answer a battery of questions put to him by waiting reporters, as he walked the short distance from his hire car to the front door of the station.

Seven of the men and women due to be questioned have been described as people of 'high interest' to the Madeleine McCann probe. The four others are said to be of lesser importance.

One of them is former British suspect, Robert Murat, and his wife. Mr Murat's lawyer confirmed he has been asked to attend Faro Police station as a witness, along with Michaela Walczuch.

The pair have are due to arrive tomorrow morning at around 9.30am for questioning.

Francisco Pagarete said: 'Mr Murat will be questioned tomorrow. I will be attending the police station with him.

'He has been asked in for questioning as a witness. Michaela has also been asked in for questioning on the same day.'

A long-haired Portuguese man covered his face as he entered the police station just before 10am this morning.

John Hill, manager of the Ocean Club holiday resort where Madeleine was staying when she vanished on May 3, 2007, is also expected to be interviewed -- along with laundryman Mario Fernando Madeira.

Mr Madeira, 48, said last year he had informed Portuguese police that he saw a man wearing sunglasses lurking in a stairwell near Madeleine McCann's apartment, just 24 hours before she vanished.

Madeleine McCann: Witness saw 'weird' stranger lurking near apartment.

He is convinced the lurker was involved in the kidnap and spoke out after the Daily Mirror visited his home in the Algarve

May 29, 2013

"He was quite tall and looked sort-of Scandinavian."

"He had lots of hair, close to his head — like it was glued. It was straight hair. He was about my age now — 45, 46.”

“He had a really fat face and had two-tone sunglasses on, they got lighter at the bottom and were big. I will never forget those glasses.

This is John HILL resort manager scheduled for interview, together with Emma Knight she was hotel director who helped McCains move to 4B.

She wear same cloths as she is seen moving Mccains from 5a

Is any information when John HILL is scheduled for interview. Let me refresh everyone memory regarding Hill statement on Madeleine: He doesn't believe she was taken.....    he found that idea to be questionable...

John Hill, said there was no definite physical evidence that the girl had been abducted. "It's still questionable as to whether it's an abduction," he said.

He was bluffing, it was all part of the ruse, the beginings of the kidnap crew cover-up.

Still, Redwoods got 'em all now & Emma Knight can finally get changed, into some orange overalls.

Its strange how first impressions are often right.
I believe everything. And l believe nothing.
I suspect everyone. And l suspect no one.
I gather the facts, examine the clues... and before   you know it, the case is solved!"
