In the absence of a scoop, tabloid hacks copy from each other and rephrase a few sentences to file their piece. Nothing new there. They don't have time to check facts. How are you supposed to write a piece and fact check it if you have up to 9 pieces on different subjects to file in a day?

The media is supposed to write there are files proving it was foreign people who caused the crime, not the locals..

Imagine two headlines on the front pages of all world's papers..

One is:
'Finally Maddie case solved: it was local OC workers who sold Maddie'

The second is:
' Maddie case solved: Eastern European gangs stole Maddlie'

...and what impact on tourism both headlines all around the world would cause..

But you cannot escape politics from the news headlines..unless you have DCI Redwood speaking directly and being recorded on video...
