If the McCann's had left every door open with an arrow pointing to Madeleine's bedroom,  they would STILL be entitled to a  full investigation into the disappearance.   Just because they left their children,  though they were cleared of neglect remember by the Portuguese,   why should they expect nothing less of a thorough investigation and search for their child.   Why should Madeleine not be given the same chances that any other missing child would have.   That's like saying 'oh your parents left you alone,  they don't deserve to have anyone searching for you so tough luck'.

There was a full investigation.

No trace of MADELEINE.

No evidence of abduction.

DO KEEP UP.

Staggering isn't the word I would apply in his case.

Deluded is closer.

Tsk tsk Stevo one is not supposed to use the "d" word.
I can understand the supporters getting it wrong  but you?

just as the same judge explained how the banning of the book was wrong...a decision that was overturned...you cannot accept reality...it isn't over yet.

You assume the case will go to the Supreme Court and there is no guarantee of that.

Indeed not. I believe there are 28 days left for them to lodge an appeal.
Whether or not that appeal will actually take place will be announced in due course, so until then, we can only wait with interest.
I believe everything. And l believe nothing.
I suspect everyone. And l suspect no one.
I gather the facts, examine the clues... and before   you know it, the case is solved!"

Or maybe not -

SY are not clueless, they know what happened that night.

Just to clarify, I have been told that Gonçalo Amaral's assets will only made available once the appeal has run its course and been rejected of course.

So what do you believe SY think happened that night, other than Madeleine disappearing ?

The judge based her judgement on just two points. That Amaral used privileged information in his book and that he ignored the presumption of innocence.

As I understand it the Appeal Court said there was no requirement for a retired police officer to observe judicial secrecy when the information had been released to the public and discussed in the media. Presumption of innocence applies only to suspects, I think.

Thank you, G-Unit.

I have but you haven't.

Mrs Fenn offered her phone to them at 10:30. They refused.

Police called at 10:41

They had mobiles which were cleared of all phone history so they knew how to use them.

They refused as Gerry said the Police had already been called [so he thought]

SY are searching for Madeleine and hope to find her alive   DO KEEP UP.

So the 4 officers are in the field searching then ?

My basic prediction remains.

They will not find Madeleine or what happened to her.

If the McCanns had done that I'm sure that they would have been considered accomplices!

They know what happened, it's the proof they need. SY are not stupid, nor are the PJ.

I am asking you the question, and I am not being rude.

What do you think SY believe happened ?

and I do not share your faith in the SY team.

They refused as Gerry said the Police had already been called [so he thought]

You said they asked. Read Matt and Fiona's statements. Fiona asked him to go and call them. Gerry should have been straight on the phone to police because within a few hours he's telling family it was a paedo gang. They said they knew she had been abducted straight away. Abduction by paedos were blamed from the start. And the police were called at 10:41. It doesn't add up!
Smithman carrying a child in his arms checked his watch after passing the Smith family and the time was 10:03. Both are still unidentified 10 years later.

I haven't assumed anything...you now accept it may go to the supreme court...it is therefore not over
