Title: Stephen Seddon.... Déjà vu?
Post by: Myster on March 14, 2013, 04:54:08 PM
Can't think where I've seen a story like this before, can you? (http://img571.imageshack.us/img571/4499/ponder.gif)
I'm sure we've been here before.... (http://img571.imageshack.us/img571/4499/ponder.gif)
Aaah, got it!(http://img811.imageshack.us/img811/7849/omggh.gif)I remember now.... 7th. August 1985. (http://img29.imageshack.us/img29/2183/thumbsupob.gif)
It's as if he copied Bamber's every move, right down to putting a shotgun on his dad's lap!, you reading this, Jackie? (http://img823.imageshack.us/img823/8223/whistlen.gif)
Keep an eye on this trial, I'm dying to see whether it'll be a 10 to 2 majority verdict, or if all twelve will see through him!!!

Very probably a copycat slaying Myster. I haven't read all the reports as yet but one comment stands out head and shoulders above the rest. The parents GP has reported that the murdered father told him that his son was trying to kill him! How awful for him to have such a s..mbag son. That is exactly what Nevill Bamber said about Jeremy.
Patricia and Robert Seddon with son Stephen 'Nic' Seddon

His big mistake was not having a sister he could frame.

Murder trial son had just £5 in bank.
Stephen Seddon is alleged to have shot dead his father, Robert, 68, and his mother Patricia, 65, at their home at Clough Avenue, Sale, last July.
A son accused of murdering his parents in a bid to speed up his inheritance had just £5 in his bank account on the day they are thought to have died and had been applying to payday lenders, a court heard.

Now that you have posted that case I have found quite a few others around the country. Could JB have started a trend??? >@@(*&)
A very nasty case. It might still be on Youtube under the "Real Crimes" series. I think it is called "The Perfect Son."
I think we will see a lot more like that in the next few years. Young people unable to buy homes and elderly parents living on forever. The Government eating up all the inheritances in Care Home costs.
The economic failure of the last few years will play hell in the next few years. Greed overcomes all loyalties given half a chance.

And what a ridiculous excuse !!! - "I'll get off if they think I have a narcissistic personality disorder".
Am I reading this correctly... how the hell has Blackwell managed to become eligible for release in 2010... he was only sentenced in July, 2004!!!???...
... and a lookback to March 2012 when Stephen Seddon played the hero in attempting to rescue parents Robert and Patricia from his submerged hired BMW off Canal Road, Timperley, Manchester. ...

Just goes to show plead a narcissistic personality disorder and you are "eligible for release" in six years. Plead innocent and appeal and you are still there 27 years later. JB chose the wrong excuse. @)(++(*
A truely ghastly crime. I hope Blackwell never gets out. Same goes for Seddon and JB.

Latest updates on the trial from the Manchester Evening News...,
"An ungrateful son with an insatiable thirst for cash." And I bet a few numpties would argue "why would he kill his parents? They gave him money and a house."

What a terrible thought to contemplate that your son is a risk to your well being because of money. The difference for Mr Bamber being that the son was not his own. 8(8-))

"An ungrateful son with an insatiable thirst for cash." And I bet a few numpties would argue "why would he kill his parents? They gave him money and a house."
Quote from Det.Ch.Insp. Denise Worth of Greater Manchester Police...
"Killing someone is heinous enough but to kill their parents and plan it and do it for money - it's almost indescribable."
The same words could have been said of Jeremy Bamber after his trial in 1986.
Didn't Nevill Bamber confide in Barbara Wilson, albeit in an enigmatic way?
A more detailed report here and the Comments say it all....

An appalling murder to think he shot his parents with a sawn-off shotgun. I notice he is being sentenced tomorrow so lets hope the sentence isn't as derisory as that handed out to other killers.

Stephen Seddon guilty of murdering his parents.
Cheryl Hramiak, Branch Crown Prosecutor at CPS North West said:
“As a result of today’s verdicts Stephen Seddon has been brought to justice for the violent and premeditated murders of his own parents and for an earlier attempt on their lives.
“He had planned these crimes in enormous detail and went to great lengths to cover his tracks and avoid detection, staging the scene of the murders to make it look like his father was responsible for the shootings. After his failed attempt to kill his parents by driving the car into the canal he even presented himself as a hero for trying to rescue them. His motive was purely financial: to get his inheritance without waiting for his parents to die. Since then he has tried to deceive everyone about what really happened and has shown no remorse whatsoever.
“The prosecution team has meticulously pieced together hundreds of items of evidence to present an overwhelming case that Stephen Seddon intended to kill his parents; that he failed in his first attempt but tragically succeeded in doing so in July 2012.
“The jury have consequently rejected his version of what happened when he drove the car into the canal and his bogus, and outlandish, accounts of the day that he killed his parents. They have recognised them for what they are – a catalogue of lies.
“I would like to offer my sincere sympathies to Robert and Patricia’s family and friends. I hope the justice that has been delivered today will go some small way towards helping them to come to terms with their loss.”

How on earth did one juror not see through his pack of lies ?... he/she must have had the same mental aberration as the two in Bamber's trial !!! 8-)(--)

Stephen Seddon sentenced to life... with a minimum term of 40 years (whole life tariff), and told he will never be paroled !!!
He even had the gall to call at the judge "No, not at all, they were not murdered by me at all. I'm an innocent man!''
All we have to wait for now is a dodgy polygraph machine test and an army of pseudo-psychiatrists being wheeled into his cell to prove that he's not a liar or a sociopath.
He'll be a bit short in the Seddonette Department though... he just isn't young and good-looking enough. So he'll have to rely one of his loopy ex-jail buddies starting up a forum to come up with crackpot ideas about why he couldn't have done it.... for the next 40 years !

Some excellent Greater Manchester Police combined CCTV footage of the movements of Stephen Seddon on the 4th. July, 2012, the day his parents were murdered.
Most of the footage shows his location in Fleetwood, Lancashire & Seaham, County Durham in the morning and afternoon, but his car can be seen passing a NISA supermarket , Manor Avenue, Sale in both directions at 1.52pm and 2.03pm (his parents are thought to have been murdered at their Sale home between 12.30pm and 3.30pm) The investigators must have used image enhancing software such as Amped 5 to identify the car and registration number.
Notice too that he's changed his tee shirt from light blue to darkblue/black and back to light blue again during the day. Could he have disposed of the dark coloured one if it had been bloodstained?
Another case for Mike to solve with the aim of ENIGMA and Misty the Wonderdog?
8-)(--)
Have you noticed how they completely avoid debating any case which remotely resembles Bambers? @)(++(*
They do not really debate things there. Mike rambles on in the corner like some abusive old woman with Dementia.
Every so often a new thread begins about another stunning new piece of evidence that proves JBs innocence, everyone piles in and adds their bit, Steve disagrees and the whole thing dissolves into personal abuse. Everyone avoids replying to Mike to avoid more abuse.
It is like a terminal old-folks home but we cannot smell the wee.
I suppose I am being unkind to old-folks homes. Maybe more like an asylum for the terminally confused.

I have been out all day but been trying to keep up to date with events as much as possible. 40 years eh? 20 years per parent. It still makes human life look cheap but I suppose it is an improvement on Bamber's 5 years per life or Hall's 13 years. At least they are going in the right direction...even poor old Devils Advocate got 14 years today.

Anyone that knows me will tell you that cases like this make me lose faith in mankind a little bit every time I read them. As a person from a close and loving family I find cases such as this incomprehenable. I also realise that some people are not so fortunate as others in that they do not have the closeness that many have. However, this inhuman s..mbag deserved his sentence and then some. What is it with people like this? Do they grow up with a fixation about money? Money seems to dominate their lives and their thinking and ultimately, their actions. This piece of garbage willingly and brutally murdered the very people that gave him life - his own parents - who loved and protected him, simply to line his own pockets. He tried once and failed so he finished off what he started. The interview where he is with his parents playing the 'hero' was sickening. The acting and the false modesty and reminiscent of Jeremy Bamber back in 1985. This ingrate is undoubted affected by the same personality disorder - psychopathy. The complete and utter lack of feeling for other human beings. The consumate acting, the conning (He had a history of deception) the lies, the callousness and manipulation, make this waste of protoplasm nothing more than an oxygen thief. I hope that he spends his entire existence on this earth behind bars, never to see the light of day again.
