Hello, it's my first post, I've been aware of the case for a while, but the documentary "WHF The New Evidence" got me looking into it further. I spent time investigating the claims made as the programme was unbalanced in seemingly assuming a miscarriage of justice. I was disappointed to find none of the evidence was new and most of the claims were easily batted away and discredited almost a decade ago. I was dismayed to find that in a YouTube search of "Jeremy Bamber" almost all the videos are alleging a miscarriage of justice and I feel this is an imbalance that should be addressed or those interested in the case will be easily lead to the misplaced assumption of a MOJ. My idea would be a short YouTube video with white text on a black background affirming 15-20 memorable statements/evidences which point to his guilt. I have seen lists on here with proofs of Sheila's innocence. So I would like help to formulate these 15-20 short and punchy statements which would stay on screen for about 10 seconds before going to the next one. They would be one longer sentence or two short sentences in length to keep them memorable. Maybe the sources of information could be included in the first comment. This would be perhaps accompanied by some downbeat, maybe slightly sinister, ambient music, maybe by Eno or the like. I tried writing a couple but they don't sound right and I'd appreciate the help and input of some more experienced case boffins. Thanks for listening 8)--))

If you really think one is necessary, have video editing skills and a YouTube account, then go for it. But I would omit any music as it tends to distract rather than reinforce what you're trying to get across. All the information the public needs is available here though, and one or two other podcaster/blog sites have linked back to this one anyway.

Thanks, Myster. I do see so much information and sources on all the threads from years of discussions and I've no doubt all that's required is there. What I need is help selecting the right proofs and evidences and summarising it. I do have a YouTube account and if it is kept basic (white text on black background throughout not rolling like subtitles but static in the middle of the screen) I would do it myself otherwise I would just pay someone. I agree about music, it's ambient, inoffensive music or nothing. It is the formulation of the short statements affirming guilt that needs the work. Also, I would need to briefly summarise the circumstances of the case in 3 sentences or so right at the start. I really do think there's a need for something brief and incisive to counteract the smoke and mirrors against the police and wider family everywhere else on YouTube. Ok I'll make a start. Statement 1)
In 1985 Nevill and June Bamber, their daughter Sheila Caffell, and her twin sons Nicholas and Daniel were found dead, shot 25 times at their farmhouse in Essex. The gun used in the crimes was found lying on Sheila's body.

Statement 2)
Police were alerted to the crime scene by a phone call to the local police office by Nevill and June's son Jeremy at 3.26am from his cottage 3 miles away, who said he'd taken a phone call from his fathe at 3.10am stating "Please come over, Sheila has gone crazy, she has the gun". It was testified and corroborated by multiple witnesses that Jeremy telephoned his girlfriend Julie before 3.15am.

Statement 3)
Jeremy was asked to meet police at the farm, he was driving slowly when passed by a police car on the way to the scene. Outside the farmhouse Jeremy stated his sister had used all the guns in the house and was familiar with them. Later under police interview he admitted this information was false.

Statement 5)
Police entered the property with an assembled Firearms unit almost 4 hours after arriving. The senior officer in charge accepted Jeremy's information, and after a brief check of the crime scene, he initially concluded Sheila had killed the family before shooting herself dead twice in the throat.

Jeremy was asked by police and subsequently wrote and signed a handwritten statement authorising police to destroy carpets and other crime scene materials.

Any other demonstrably false statements made by Bamber at the crime scene? I don't think it's worth mentioning the hearty breakfast or the Porsche. Anybody got any feedback?

Bamber appears to have a habit of attempting to project his character traits onto others and gaslight his victims (classic psychopathic behaviour)
He gaslit Julie & Sarah when he referred to her (Sarah - alleged 1984 drug/date rape victim) as ‘neurotic’ and has used numerous others terms

He’s been described as a sexual predator and his actions and behaviour certainly appears to support this

Don’t forget Bamber’s a diagnosed psychopath
If he’s been assessed by 27 individuals since the original diagnosis (pre trial assessment) - as claimed by his supporters - are those 27 individuals fit to practice ?

Bamber’s alleged grief
So grief stricken was Bamber following the murders - at ‘ tea time’ he paid a visit to Charles Marsden and the pair of them went out for a chat and a pint.
The same Charles Marsden Bamber referred to as a liar.
Then he had his mother’s beloved dog Crispy put down
Robert McTaggart Hill, w/s, 14 October 1985; vet with Neill & Scott, Maldon.
Jeremy Bamber called him on 8 August and he went to Bourtree:
‘On my arrival Mr Jeremy Bamber told me that he wished me to put down the Shih Tzu dog that had belonged to Mrs Bamber, his mother. He said that the dog was very attached to his mother, and since her death, he thought that the dog should not go to another home. He also said that the dog had turned a bit nasty since the killings at WHF and it was a bit snappy. I also spoke with Mr Jeremy Bamber about finding a new home for another dog from WHF, this was a black Labrador gun dog. He seemed concerned that the dog should be found another home on a farm but if that didn’t work out that dog should also be put down. Through the vet’s practise another home was found for this dog at Corporation Farm at Maldon and we housed the dog on Friday, 9 August 1985… Mr J Bamber brought the dog to the surgery on that afternoon. On the occasions I saw Jeremy Bamber, he seemed upset when I saw him on 8.8.85 but he seemed to be more composed on 9.8.85 when I saw him in Maldon at the surgery. On the latter occasion he explained that he was on tranquillisers. I knew nothing of Jeremy Bamber or his family prior to 8.8.85.’

Within days of his families funerals Bamber was sat on the sofa at Angela Greave’s flat in London making a move on her - even though according to Charles Marsden he was in a relationship with her sister Virginia ?
And didn’t he also propose marriage to one of the Greave sisters whilst telling Brett Collins he was planning a trip to New Zealand with him?

And did she (Anji) know about her sister Virginia and Bamber’s relationship when she was waiting for him in the hotel in London following his murder trial or did he lie to Charles Marsden about the relationship with Virginia?

So, what exactly is coercive control?
”Coercive control is a strategic pattern of behaviour designed to exploit, control, create dependency and dominate. The victim’s every day existence is micro managed and her space for action as well as potential as a human being is limited and controlled by the abuser.
Initially lovebombing and charm may occur to get the victim into the relationship. Gaslighting, isolation, economic control and financial abuse and rules and regulations are gradually introduced over time once the victim is emotionally invested as well as a consequence if they are broken. The rules apply to the victim rather the perpetrator creating a double standard and the victim fears the consequence if she breaks a rule.
Over time, coercively controlling behaviour erodes the victim’s sense of self, their confidence and self-esteem, agency and autonomy.
The abuser creates an unreal world of contradiction, confusion and fear. Moreover 51% of victims do not even know that they are being abused, manipulated and controlled.
Coercive control correlates significantly to serious harm and homicide.
Where did the term ‘coercive control’ originate from?
A number of feminist psychologists in the 1970s identified the domestic abuse victims that they worked with as living like hostages and coined the term ‘coercive control.’
This dangerous form of abuse relies on a range of behaviours or actions that can be very subtle and nuanced. The intention is to exploit and dominate and to ultimately deprive the victim of their most basic rights and needs. Over time, the victim may lose the very essence of being, the sense of who they are, their likes and dislikes, rendering their needs and desires irrelevant – hence hostage taking and living under an enforced regime.
At first the perpetrator may be charming and put the victim on a pedestal by the effective tactic of love bombing. Once under their spell, love bombed and intoxicated with love, their behaviour will change. The victim might wonder where the person they fell in love with went. They may not even recall when the change took place or how it happened.
Coercive Control is Akin to Brainwashing
The art of brainwashing is sophisticated. The abuser replaces the victim’s inner narrative and thoughts with their own. Gradually, the victim’s voice is eroded and replaced with the abuser’s narrative – their views, needs, desires, wants which is placed above all else.
The behaviours can be very different in each case because it depends on the victimology. It’s very idiosyncratic to the victim and tailor-made as a plan to target them. And it can happen to anyone.
These behaviours can include strategies such as pseudo-caring tactics that appear to be attentive and thoughtful, while in reality the perpetrator is actually just micro managing the victim and limiting their space for action. They may appear super attentive and into the victim in the beginning, but all the while they may be social engineering and data mining and storing up information about the intended victim or creating an atmosphere of co-dependence.
When we understand coercive control, it’s really about utter domination.

What are some of the signs of coercive control?
Isolation – controlling who you can speak to, monitoring you online and/or offline, checking up on you, monopolising your time, creating drama when you want to go out preventing you from making your own choices about when you go out, preventing access to transport and limiting your time with others.
Pressuring you to do things you don’t want to do – making you feel bad and guilt tripping you to do things, policing what you wear
Inserting in relationships – taking over relationships, edging you out of your relationships, telling people not to speak with you
Criticising and verbal abuse – undermining you, shouting, unpicking you, accusing you, name calling, putting you down, using information you have shared against you
Gaslighting you – distorting the reality to upend and manipulate you
Threats – using physical size to intimidate, using gestures, threatening family, friends or pets (those you care about the most), breaking things, punching walls, driving fast to intimidate, picking up weapons whilst talking with you, threatening to self-harm or commit suicide.
Charm – putting you on a pedestal, being overly attentive, buttering you up (to knock you down or manipulate), using charm to disarm and when it suits to manipulate or just in front of others to create a false impression.
Rules and Regulation – setting the rules to live by (just applies to you and not them), dinner on the table at a certain time, dress a certain way, hair a certain way, micro management of your life.
Disrespect – disrespecting you in front of others, interrupting you when you are with others, not listening or responding to you, taking your money, logging into your accounts, refusing to help you with shared household affairs, work or children, saying you cause the abuse or that you are to blame, lying to you, cheating on you, embarrassing you in front of others, sharing secrets, being jealous, monopolising your time, breaking promises or agreements, appropriating or denying you access to resources required for personhood and citizenship.
Stalking – following you, monitoring you online/offline, appearing in places you go to, watching you, using others to watch you.
Physical abuse – punching, kicking, slapping, pinching, burning, pinning you down, putting hands around the neck, biting, pulling hair, shoving.
Economic abuse – controlling finances, preventing you from working, making you ask for money, giving you an allowance, taking your money, making you work multiple jobs whilst they do nothing, not allowing you access to family income, putting debt in your name.
Sexual abuse – forcing you to have sex, pressuring you, making you have sex with others, taking pictures or videos, forcing you to watch porn, demeaning you sexually, demeaning you sexually in front of others, calling you names.
Sadly and paradoxically, it is the victim who is often blamed and shamed for the perpetrator’s behaviour, as if they are somehow complicit due to the familiarity of the setting where the abuse occurs. Most perpetrators are serial and hone their tradecraft over time by practicing on different victims.
We must focus on their behaviour and shift the responsibility back on to them. It is much more about what they do, how they do it and how they get away with it. Reframing the victim’s predicament as hostage-like and calling it coercive control helps dispels this misconception and ensuring serial perpetrators are on a register, just like sex offenders, would create the seismic cultural shift needed.

I didn't bother reading the Lomax book. I read he bought Bamber's nonsense about the cremations being necessary because some Christians believe they shouldn't be buried after they've had a post mortem. If he's swallowing that he'll swallow anything. I read he bought Bamber's nonsense about the cremations being necessary because some Christians believe they shouldn't be buried after they've had a post mortem. Hello, it's my first post, I've been aware of the case for a while, but the documentary "WHF The New Evidence" got me looking into it further. I spent time investigating the claims made as the programme was unbalanced in seemingly assuming a miscarriage of justice. I was disappointed to find none of the evidence was new and most of the claims were easily batted away and discredited almost a decade ago. I was dismayed to find that in a YouTube search of "Jeremy Bamber" almost all the videos are alleging a miscarriage of justice and I feel this is an imbalance that should be addressed or those interested in the case will be easily lead to the misplaced assumption of a MOJ. My idea would be a short YouTube video with white text on a black background affirming 15-20 memorable statements/evidences which point to his guilt. I have seen lists on here with proofs of Sheila's innocence. So I would like help to formulate these 15-20 short and punchy statements which would stay on screen for about 10 seconds before going to the next one. They would be one longer sentence or two short sentences in length to keep them memorable. Maybe the sources of information could be included in the first comment. This would be perhaps accompanied by some downbeat, maybe slightly sinister, ambient music, maybe by Eno or the like. I tried writing a couple but they don't sound right and I'd appreciate the help and input of some more experienced case boffins. Thanks for listening 8)--))

’Coercive control is about power and control and utter domination. It is a behavioural regime to exact control, that occurs over time.
It can be very subtle and nuanced.
Coercive control includes isolation, exploitation, intimidation and/or threats or actual physical harm. The behaviour is insidious and undermines the victim’s sense of self.
It is a form of hostage taking – an insidious ‘drip, drip, drip’. It can also include pseudo-caring behaviour. Oftentimes the perpetrators are charming. They may charm their way into the victim’s life and once controlled, upend them.
Isolation is a key tool of the abuser as they seek to monopolise perception. They lay down rules and regulations. The rules often change and do not apply to the abuser – only the victim. The rules are there to exact obedience.
The abuser becomes omnipotent. The abuse may be invisible to others. The abuser will have a supercharged sense of entitlement.
The abuser will slowly take the victim’s agency, autonomy and self-esteem. The patriarchy and structural inequalities further entraps the victim.
Controlling behaviour is: a range of acts designed to make a person subordinate and/or dependent by isolating them from sources of support, exploiting their resources and capacities for personal gain, depriving them of the means needed for independence, resistance and escape and regulating their everyday behaviour.
Coercive behaviour is: a continuing act or a pattern of acts of assault, threats, humiliation and intimidation or other abuse that is used to harm, punish, or frighten the victim.
The controlling behaviour can be subtle, nuanced, indirect and by proxy.
Psychological abuse and emotional abuse are subset tactics of coercive control.
Behaviour includes, but is not limited to, intimidation, harassment, stalking, damage to property and threats of physical abuse, sexual abuse, or psychological abuse, gaslighting, love bombing, fear inducing, inserting in relationships and taking over relationships.
What is Gaslighting?
Gaslighting involves reality distortion. It’s a tactic in which a person, in order to gain more power, makes a victim question their reality. Anyone is susceptible to gaslighting, and it is a common technique of abusers, dictators, narcissists and cult leaders.
It is done slowly, so the victim doesn’t realise how much they’ve been brainwashed. For example, in the movie Gaslight (1944), a man manipulates his wife, played by Ingrid Bergman, to the point where she thinks she is losing her mind when all along he has set her up. I see it in so many of my cases, along with love bombing. Oftentimes the victim does not see themselves as the victim.
In fact, a large number of victims do not self-identify as a victim. It is akin to brain washing and often when talking with victims we hear the perpetrator’s voice, rather than their own.

Love bombing is an intense and constant stream of love communication, texts, emails, notes and gifts to sweep you off your feet and intoxicate you with love. It’s designed to make you fall in love.
It will not feel like bombardment, although it is. It will feel flattering. It will feel like the kind of romance we watch in movies – the attention to your every need, the sweet notes, the love declarations, the adoration, the flowers, the gifts.
He has assessed you and is mirroring exactly what you want to see and hear. It feels almost too good to be true – well, guess what, it is. It is all about control. The intention is to hook you in and make you fall in love. A whirlwind to get you under control.
Love bombing is a powerful aphrodisiac and tool in the abuser’s tool box. It gives you little time to think, it isolates you as they monopolise your every waking hour, it gives a false impression of who they are, and it moves the relationship along very quickly.
Before you know it, you are hooked. The message you receive is ‘he is really into you’ ‘we have an intense connection’ ‘we have known each other longer than you actually have.’ This is mind control and distorts the reality and before long, there will be pressure to move in together. Once he has you where he wants you, the behaviour will change.

The Youtube users that you are looking for are people who are new to the case, or they don't have the depth of knowledge to work out that the so-called new evidence is actually completely fabricated.
In my experience, the 'evidence' that is most convincing to the uninitiated is the stuff that says that Sheila was alive in the house whilst Bamber was outside with the police.
Even people who think he's guilty say that the evidence that say's Sheila was alive in the house means there is reasonable doubt, but they don't realise that its fake evidence.
The evidence that confuses them is down to three major Bamber lies.
BAMBER LIE 1: There was movement in the house as observed by PS Bewes.
TRUTH: We know the 'movement' to have been a reflection of moonlight against a window when Bewes was doing a recce of the house in the company of Jeremy Bamber himself. Bewes has confirmed in interviews many times that the 'movement' was a trick of the light, and moving backwards and forwards he was able to recreate the visual effect.
Jeremy Bamber never mentioned this 'movement' in witness statements, or in his police interviews, or at his trial. And that's because no movement was actually seen.
BAMBER LIE 2: Firearms officers talking to Sheila in the house.
TRUTH: We know this to be fabricated evidence because Bamber has used a snippet of the firearms log along with a false narrative of that event. Very easy to disprove.
BAMBER LIE 3: The blood from Sheila's wounds were fresh and wet when the police entered the building, therefore she must have died whilst Bamber was outside the house with the police.
TRUTH: Whilst the blood from the actual wounds does look fresh and wet, the rest of the blood from the same wounds that had dripped onto Sheila's nightdress, is dark and dry. These crime scene photos were publicly published during a time (early 2000's) when Bamber was legally represented by Giovanni De Stefano, who is a career criminal currently serving 21 years in prison for a number of frauds committed whilst pretending to be a lawyer. Only Bamber's legal representation can release documents to the public, so it looks like he had the images doctored, and then published them, possibly at Bamber's request. Carol Ann Lee, the author, has confirmed that the wet blood photos have been 'doctored', and has confirmed that the original crime scene photos show dry, cracked blood.
I know that the above 3 points have been done to death in the past, but they haven't been done to death by the newbies, or casual observers. So I think they are critical points to make.
There is a 15 minute video made by the Guardian newspaper, and that video contains all of the faked evidence that is very easy to disprove (including the points outlined above), but also, the points covered, creates the most confusion to newbies.
To be honest, you could just go through that Guardian newspaper video and disprove each point that that video makes, and most of the things that tricks people into believing he's innocent will be covered.

To be honest, you could just go through that Guardian newspaper video and disprove each point that that video makes, and most of the things that tricks people into believing he's innocent will be covered.
The points made in that video also happen to be the points that interest people.

BAMBER LIE 3: The blood from Sheila's wounds were fresh and wet when the police entered the building, therefore she must have died whilst Bamber was outside the house with the police.
TRUTH: Whilst the blood from the actual wounds does look fresh and wet, the rest of the blood from the same wounds that had dripped onto Sheila's nightdress, is dark and dry. These crime scene photos were publicly published during a time (early 2000's) when Bamber was legally represented by Giovanni De Stefano, who is a career criminal currently serving 21 years in prison for a number of frauds committed whilst pretending to be a lawyer. Only Bamber's legal representation can release documents to the public, so it looks like he had the images doctored, and then published them, possibly at Bamber's request. Carol Ann Lee, the author, has confirmed that the wet blood photos have been 'doctored', and has confirmed that the original crime scene photos show dry, cracked blood.

’A criminal record as long as your arm isn’t the usual prerequisite for a job at The Guardian – but then the paper hasn’t previously employed a prison correspondent.
This week it revealed that former career criminal Eric Allison had got the job. Allison, 60, has served a total of 15 years in prison, mainly for theft, including spells at Strangeways, Durham, Wormwood Scrubs and Wandsworth.
He says he began writing as a way of protesting about injustices in the prison system and applied for the prison correspondent’s job after seeing it advertised in The Guardian. Allison has co-written a book about the 1990 Strangeways prison riot.
He said: “Once I started protesting through writing, I built up a network of people and the screws had to be careful, because I had backing on the outside. They’ve driven people to suicide. But they’d never drive me to suicide, because I wanted to know what was going to happen next.”
Allison will write about all aspects of prisons across the news and features sections of the paper.
Guardian editor Alan Rusbridger said: “We don’t know enough about what goes on inside our prisons. Eric’s experience will give us a unique insight into lots of different aspects of penal policy and importantly he will help give a voice to serving prisoners.”

Thanks Coalville, I think it may well be worth refuting those 3 common misconceptions and hoax's that are commonly paraded to suggest his innocence. They can be easily defeated seeing Sheila alive in the house wasn't brought up by Bamber for years following. Nobody out of dozens of people have reported to seeing or speaking to anyone alive in the house. A fraudulent interpretation of documents seems to be the basis of these claims.

It has been I agree. But this has happened in numerous other innocence fraud cases over the years. Bamber’s isn’t an isolated fraudulent ‘campaign’.

BAMBER LIE 1: There was movement in the house as observed by PS Bewes.
TRUTH: We know the 'movement' to have been a reflection of moonlight against a window when Bewes was doing a recce of the house in the company of Jeremy Bamber himself. Bewes has confirmed in interviews many times that the 'movement' was a trick of the light, and moving backwards and forwards he was able to recreate the visual effect.
Jeremy Bamber never mentioned this 'movement' in witness statements, or in his police interviews, or at his trial. And that's because no movement was actually seen.

It's interesting that we don't have access to Bews police statement or court transcript, and nothing else from Mayall other than the court transcript where the "trick of the light" stuff isn't mentioned. I've had a reply this morning from Jeremy.
‘Going on social media etc etc is not productive’. You will end up with all kinds of unnecessary stresses’ states Bamber
The couple were doing what loads couples do Each weekend. The actions of two very drunk and people who could have been smoking as well. Both completely off their faces however Sarah seems somewhat ashamed by her actions and has seemingly tried to put the blame on Jeremy, just like many others.

At the time of jeremy’s trial and the lead up to it, Leon Britton was Home Secretary.
It has been stated recently in the newspapers that Jeremy was sexually abused as a child. This WAS NOT committed by his father.
I am aware of prominent individuals who I cannot name for legal reasons, who have been named as ‘active’ in the past.

Could Neville have been killed and Jeremy deliberately framed?
The probability of an outsider committing these crimes was denounced by the Judge at trial stating that if Sheila could not have committed the murders then it had to be Jeremy, even though there has never been anything to tie him to the scene of the crime.
Could this case be that simple?
Was Neville and June murdered, through fear from others of being exposed by the couple?
If Jeremy was framed, there would be no reason to look outside of this family.

Jeremy has taken the newspaper to court over it. It’s not within the public interest and it is illegal to unmask any sexual abuse survivor. I’m only stating that what the papers stated was incorrect.
It would be illegal for me to disclose the truth but he wasn’t 11. The tabloids info is incorrect.
I will not be disclosing anything private that Jeremy has disclosed to me, that’s why I’m stating here, nothing I’m revealing is coming from Jeremy. It’s my own research.

The 1 ‘follower’ was Michelle Nicolson a convicted murderer - found guilty of killing her father Keith Nicolson
‘The facts of the case were as follows. The deceased Keith Nicholson was the father of the applicant. He was addicted to drugs and alcohol. His son (the applicant’s brother) under the influence of his father had himself abused and become addicted to drugs. The trial judge was of the view that the motive for the murder was a desire by the applicant to remove the deceased as a bad influence on his son. The applicant initiated the idea of killing her father. She recruited her co-defendant Smethurst who co-operated in the planning of the offence and in the killing itself. At the time of these events he was infatuated with her.
4. In accordance with the plan made by the two defendants, they drove the victim to the North Yorkshire moors, knocked him unconscious with a pickaxe handle, and set him alight with petrol. The applicant’s defence was that, despite her admitted presence at the time of the offence, she took no part in it, and/or was suffering from acute stress disorder. The partial defences of diminished responsibility and provocation were relied upon. The jury rejected these defences.
