Select the photo or picture:
1) Right click on it and a list will appear
2) Select "properties" and right click on that
3) Another list will come down; select "address (url)" and copy that URL address (as in copy and paste).
Make sure you copy every bit cos it only usually shows the first two lines
4) Return to the box that you are writing your post in, and locate where you want the picture.
5) Use the little symbol under B directly above this 8-)(--) in that location. Two markers in square brackets will appear.
6) Now very carefully paste your URL address between the two square bracketted markers
Voila ! ... you have done it. Preview it, of course, before posting
Phew! Hope I got that right!
I cant do GEarth pictures Bernice. They are very difficult, but ordinary images are simple ... and very rewarding.
Good luck with it.

Aww thank you so much Sadie but I am a complete technophobe! Just having to post a link - and I break out into a sweat! and my brain freezes over at words like 'URL' !! Eeek!
All very irrational I know, but after years of being exactly the same - I'm stuck with it. Many have tried to educate me but all have failed.
In the words of my grandson - which describes my 'attitude' to my computer in a nutshell:-
''Nan (sigh) ....it's a computer not an unexploded bomb!''
I'm afraid there's no hope for me Sadie - but many thanks for your kind thoughts.xxx

Honestly Bernice if you go thru it step by step, you cant get it wrong [so long as i have got it right of course!]
I dont know what an url is either, but I can use it
Same as i didn't fully understand in maths differentiation and integration ... but I could use them
The only trick you need to know is how to "copy and paste". Good luck with it anyhow. If you are worried about it maybe others will benefit? Hope so. I like pictures.
Have to rush now. Hopefully back in three hours or so.

Eeeek! I have no idea! I've had a computer for about 12 years - and I'm still always slightly surprised when it starts up after I've pressed the start button. Honestly I'm a lost cause - but if anything drastic is required - I just call my son or grandsons and they put it right - although I do leave the room whilst they doing it - in case they try to explain anything to me. They think it's hilarious.
I don't really mind being a technophobe, except I feel a bit of a nuisance if I have to ask someone to do something which I know I should be able to do myself. E.g. asking Heri to post a piccie today.

Me too, Benice
Mechanically I am fine, but electronically I am a dead loss. I ask my hubby, but he gets ratty cos i am always pestering him ... so sometimes I have to wait days! Very frustrating.
John has been very kind (and patient) and Gilet.
Heris is a sweetie and I bet he will help any way he can.
I need a good computer course. One that had depth cos i always want to know more. That's my problem
