I have purposely not read this book for some time until I had seen for myself what the evidence is in the Bamber case.
Having now done so I find it to be written in the most awful sanctimonious manner for something which he expected readers to take seriously. If anyone paid good money for this garbage I seriously suggest that they demand a refund.
The errors in Shaw's book are numerous, I started out to record them and they have filled pages. I will post details of them at a later date.
I do suggest anyone with an interest in the case have a read through his manuscript, I have provided a link below where it can be read on several different sites.

I read a bit of it a while back but i got bored with his comments. He isn't much of a writer if the truth be known and he certainly won't make any reputation on the Bamber case. Did you notice he criticised Tesko for stealing his work though.....that bit I like.

If I'm honest I must say that I got bored with it after a bit, so much of it is simply speculation of the very worst sort and not at all something you would expect from a serious crime writer. So much of it is pure invention on Shaws behalf like the generalisations concerning Taff Jones who died after falling off a ladder at home and what he might or might not have said in court. Taff Jones was entitled to his views but at the end of the day he was wrong.

Save starting a new thread I thought I would post here.
Well done to Grahame and Mat for putting paid to what to my mind are bizarre theories re author Claire Powell being behind an orchestrated anti JB propaganda machine. (I think she may have worked for the BBC too)
I read Wilkes and Powell around the end of 2012 and ended up even more convinced of JB's innocence.
Powell paints an equally negative view of Jeremy and Sheila.

It appears the facts that Grahame posted were alreayd posted by Lookout (I don't read her posts). So I'm not sure why the debate is continuing, some don't let facts get in the way of a good story.
thanks for the links John, I shall read later on and post my thoughts here. I don't hold out much hope but shall go in open minded.

Ngb stated:
"I think some care is needed here in avoiding jumping too quickly to conclusions. I have read David Shaw's material and it certainly makes interesting reading. For all I know he may be accurate in his conclusions, but I have no way of judging that because David Shaw's conclusions are not backed up by clear references to the evidence upon which they are based. Mike Tesko has made clear that although he agrees with David Shaw on some matters, he disagrees with him on others.
The real point I believe it is important to make here is that although Jeremy Bamber's suporters may disagree on different aspects of the evidence and have different opinions on what precisely happened at WHF, Jeremy Bamber and his team are the only ones making the submissions to the CCRC. Whilst I am sure that Jeremy Bamber appreciates the support of all of those who believe that he is the victim of a miscarriage of justice, he has made it very clear that only the material which appears on his official website and other media expressly approved by his team is material which can be said to reflect the basis of his case and the submissions being presented to the CCRC. In the circumstances I feel the last sentence of yours which I have quoted above needs to be challenged.
