Why did Bamber, for the first time EVER, ask Sheila where she and the boys would be? He never showed the slightest interest before.

And look at his face. Eyebrows up instead of down. Not a single tear. Shockingly bad actor.

How can you possibly know that was the first time ever? I've mentioned before we cant possibly know its all gossip and rumour.

Bamber might have fooled ngb, Maggie, Patti and mertol.
But he hasn't fooled me.
Maybe I'm just a bit a bit sharper. 8((()*/

It was at a party. And JB asked Sheila if she and the boys would be at the farm. He'd never shown the slightest interest before. It's all true. Read the books.

And the author of these books you mention had unrestricted access to Shelia and Jeremy for 6 or so years and logged every conversation they had to conclude this as a fact? or is it just the opinion and recollection of a 3rd party's opinion distorted then taken out of context? I think it might be the latter

You mean what you believe! I'm just saying that gossip and opinions of people don't mean much in terms of investigating crimes. People will say all sorts of things but then not bother going to court and testify under cross examination. Remember the Michael Brown saga? many people claimed to see what happened infront of the news cameras but never bothered to testifying infront of the grand jury. sais it all really

Gosh, sorry, David. An all-day boozy funeral turned me into Angry of Solihull.

I believe it was CC who said JB asked when SC and the boys would be visiting? I think this was in his book? If you see JB as not guilty, as I do, then this can be seen as an entirely innocent and benign statement. Most people, men and women, enjoy the company of small children especially if they aren't responsible for them 24/7. JB's ex-girlfriend who he lived with, Suzette Ford, states in her WS that JB was good with her children: kind, attentive and generous and they were fond of him.
For those who see JB as guilty then of course it seems sinister.

The timing of the murders was all too convenient. Had it been someone with a grudge against Nevill as some suggest, they would have cased the farm and waited until Nevill and June were alone again.

I believe the timing coincided with the fallout (emotional) from SC meeting with her birth mother in May '85. The visit to WHF in Aug '85 was the first time SC had spent any length of time with NB and June since the reunion.
