Title: Jeremy Bamber has been moved to HM Prison Wakefield.
Post by: Holly Goodhead on June 16, 2015, 03:52:11 PM
It appears JB has been moved to Wakefield prison.  Full Sutton and Wakefield both house category A prisoners but Wakefield also homes some of the most dangerous nonces.

I wonder why JB has been moved now  &%+((£  Is it just a coincidence or the authorities wanting to take him out his comfort zone due to the forthcoming 30th anniversary of the tragedy/30 years incarceration and potential
publicity from the forthcoming books/media coverage?

Moved to Monster Mansion to bake a monster cake from Monster Munch... ingredients provided by courtesy of Tesko's?  &%+((£

More than just a coincidence I'd say. For his own protection from the wrath of other inmates should these books reveal the truth, perhaps? Or simply because the 30th anniversary might be a suitable occasion for a chancer to take a pop at him?  Unlike Full Sutton, Wakefield has got a CSC or Close Supervision Centre where men at risk can be segregated, thus having minimal contact with staff and other prisoners. Seems odd that JB has been resident in Full Sutton for all these years and only now is transferred.

Well well!! So....this Christmas, when Bamber's gazing dolefully over his mushy sprouts, he'll see Bridger and Philpott grinning back with their thumbs up! Bloody great!!!!

(Whoever cooked those Bamber cup cakes needs to shoot down to Wilkinson's and buy some Nippon, they're covered in ants.)

Dear Jeremy

Heard you're on the move
Hope it improves your lot but I fear not at Monster Mansion!

Anything to do with the books?
Oh the suspension...

Did he? Didn't he?
All to be revealed by one Paul Harrison!

Best keep your head down
Or maybe not at Monster Mansion!

You'll be nearer to busty Patti on Blue
I'll give her a ring and she'll visit you with a bit of a view!

Is the great 'bake off' still on?
Or have they told you to sod off at Monster Mansion?

Perhaps been hampered by an officer akin to Porridge's Mr McKay:
"You want flour 'n' eggs"?  "I'll give you flour 'n' eggs son!"

As I said I hope it improves your lot but I fear not at Monster Mansion!

Regards

Exactly 5 years ago today JB wrote the following re his prison and cell moves:

It appears he has previosly been a guest at Monster Mansion.

There's clearly a cost involved in moving prisoners around so what's the purpose?  I guess it might stop them going stir crazy by a change in environment?  Plus prevent them getting too 'comfortable' and familiar with staff.  It appears most of the cat A/lifers move.

I do hope he'll have room for all his boxes of case notes he retains in his cell!

How about this character...

I'm sure in years to come all criminality will be treated by gene/drug/phycho therapy before any serious offending takes place.

There could be several reasons for the move and since it has not been revealed on the official website one must conclude it was not a welcome but necessary one.
