It's described as 'a chronological account of the case so far, based on articles that have appeared in the Daily and Sunday Express newspapers'. Interesting cover I thought.

There are only 11 reviews on Amazon, most of which slate the author for trying to line her own pockets by filling a book with speculative nonsense as so little was known at the time of publishing.

I thought it was written by Robert Downing [male?]. I was interested because the same cover was used by Kate McCann later. All the books on the subject have been speculative, so that's not really a valid criticism.
The book was based solely on stories in the Daily and Sunday Express, so might be interesting as an account of how the story evolved in those newspapers. So many stories are hard to find now. As it's only 1p I've ordered it, so I'll let you know.

Indeed and include what was being reported at the time before the cleansing of the events by pushing the 'abduction by stranger' theory
