i dont like gerry and kate at all but there is a fb page sharing photos of amelie and sean at a airport i dont think it is right at all

Someone posted a photo of their son on my Facebook group page without being in context with what was being discussed. I had no idea what it meant but my only reaction was to notice that their son is not a bad looking kid and I'm sure the parents are proud of him.

Who is going to police that?

Facebook policy (I must admit I don't really understand how it works).
Minors & Privacy
Along with providing tools and settings that allow people to select who they share and connect with, we take additional precautions to help keep young people safe.
What steps does Facebook take to keep minors safe?
Minors and tagging.
Anyone who can see a post may be able to add tags to it. When someone's tagged in a post, the audience of the post may expand to include their friends. Minors and adults can use the Tag Review tool to approve tags people add to their posts before they appear. By default, this feature is on for minors.
Minors and adults can also turn on Timeline Review to review posts they're tagged in before the posts appear on their Timeline. If a minor or anyone else is tagged in something they don't like, they can remove the tag or ask the person to take the post down.

Totally agree Carly. Posting photos of someone else's children anywhere is a no no.

There does indeed. Children as young as 7 are posting way too much information about themselves. My ex colleague at work showed me a picture of her 7 year old daughter. It looked like a soft porn picture... legs apart on a chair and pouting - the make up was very heavy, done professionally!. I was shocked, the mother claimed she was advertising her daughters independance and talent... I had to report it as I saw something else I was not supposed to see.
OK I do get it that children want to be pop stars, movie stars and no one has the ambition to want to be a team member at the local MacDonalds, but some parents just take advertising childrens 'talent' a bit too far.

Best to be not part of it imo.
