Title: Trump v Biden - who is going to win?
Post by: Vertigo Swirl on October 27, 2020, 05:43:11 PM
I hope they both lose frankly, but something tells me Trump is going to pull it out of the bag at the last minute.  At least he’s entertaining and not overtly senile.  Biden is deadly dull and appears to be in the process of losing the plot already.

I hope Trump wins, but don't ask me why.  Although he does appear to be the only President ever that actually runs America himself.

One of the Georges was very funny because he knew that he didn't run anything.

Agreed!  a polished politician he isn't, but that for me is a good thing! And it would piss of smugg- Markle prince 'arrys new owner.

Gawg double ya boosh 2nd was  hilarious with his speeches- we read a lot of his 'quotes'  at uni.

Some one thought he was the president of the golf club because he was always on one. lol

I find Trump to have been a total disaster.

What has he actually done a) to improve the lives of ordinary Americans and b) to maintain the credibility of the US on the global stage?

Well, he has overseen record employment figures for African Americans as well as brokered peace deals in the middle east which saw him nominated for the Nobel prize.

But the MSM & political establishment hate him, so there's no fan fair when he does something good.

But on its website, the Nobel committee warns not to attach too much importance to a nomination.

“Any person or organization can be nominated by anyone eligible to nominate,” the committee states. The Norwegian Nobel Committee has no input into submissions, though it decides who actually wins the prize. “To simply be nominated is therefore not an endorsement or extended honour to imply affiliation with the Nobel Peace Prize or its related institutions,” the committee states.

Nonetheless, Trump has touted the nomination repeatedly at campaign rallies, on Twitter and in TV ads.
Trump’s Nomination

On Sept. 9, Christian Tybring-Gjedde, a far-right Norwegian politician, announced on Fox News that he had nominated Trump for a Nobel Peace Prize."

Trump moaning that the media was covering hurricane instead of Nobel Prize nomination (at a rally speech... in a place that had recently had a disaster:

I know he's fluffed a few things, but the rhythm must be gruelling. There are also deliberately manipulated clips floating around.

A manipulated video falsely touted as "proof" Joe Biden has dementia was reportedly viewed more than one million times on Twitter over the weekend.

A user uploaded a doctored clip to the platform showing the Democratic nominee announcing himself on stage at a campaign rally.

"Hello, Minnesota!" the former vice president said in the footage. But his podium showed a sign that read "Tampa, Florida," along with the message "Text FL to 30330".

But the original, unedited video was filmed in St Paul's, Minnesota where Mr Biden had been campaigning ahead of election day.

Biden always looks as if he's about to fall over. As for Nancy Pelosi, she should retire gracefully after sacking her makeup girl.

A court reporter on supposed witnesses of ballot fraud in Maricopa county, Arizona.  I presume the case got thrown out.
https://twitter.com/KlasfeldReports/status/1326971298879254533

Some Tea Party person claimed this clip showed Democrats stuffing ballots... but it was video from a Russian election.

Trump retweeting (on Nov 11) a video of ballot collectors supposedly ballots from a drop-off box - the insinuation being days after the election and therefore illegal.

Yes, but here in Scotland we had elderly patients sent back to
'carehomes' to die of the infection.  Some refused admission to hospital.

God bless our queen of Scots- Nicola, no flies on me,  sturgeon. It wasn't actually her fault, is was the fault of the brexiteers to willed it on the poor souls, heartless bunch them.

All the while ignoring that and mouthing off about Bojos handling of COVID 19.

Poll conducted three days ago in Scotland.

Who has handled the crisis best?
Boris Johnstone
Well 19%   Neither well or badly 17%.  Badly  62%   rest don't knows

Nicola Sturgeon
Well 74%.  Neither well or badly  11%   Badly  13%.  rest don't knows

UK Government
Well 25%  Neither well or badly 18%    Badly 55%  rest don't knows.

Scottish Government
Well. 72%.  Neither well or badly  12%   Badly 15%. rest don't knows?

And with the latest scandal of the acquisition of PPE and the exorbitant  payments made to
friends of friends by the UK government these results may well change!
