That's assuming Madeleine can be found, or her remains.

To briefly remind you................

NOT ONE TRACE in nearly 7 years.

No trace of Ben Needham in over 20 years - and yet his mother continues to hope and no doubt will carry on hoping until the day she dies, or until she finds out what happened to her son.   If the government agree to give Ben's case the same attention they have given Madeleine  - I for one will be delighted.   Will you?

The notion that innocence prevails over guilt – when there is no evidence to the contrary – is what separates civilization from barbarism.    Unfortunately, there are remains of barbarism among us.    Until very recently, it headed the PJ in Portimão. I hope he was the last one.

Are you saying that the person who broke into 12 apartments and sexually assaulted little girls - i.e. the man who SY made the appeal about  - was not a paedaphile?
Show us all where it says that all 12 break ins included sexual attack.
What I said was give cites to back you assertions.
I take it you cannot.
No surprise there then

True, but it doesn't mean there is any connection to the mccann case, does it ?

e.g. NO FORENSIC PROOF, i.e. b....r all of anything.

No it can't be ignored. I don't doubt those children were traumatised. Whether it is related to the  disappearance of Madeleine Mccann or not, I hope the perpetrator is caught.

Before getting involved in these cases I never heard anything about Portuguese child assaults and abductions/disappearances or whatever you want to call them.  I find the whole thing rather worrying from a parents point of view.  The comments that Praia da Luz was a paedophiles paradise are very worrying and must have been incredibly damaging to the entire area as far as tourism was concerned.

Was there a concerted effort made to hush up these assaults and abductions in order to protect the areas tourism industry?

A malicious prosecution for a crime which never existed. An exposé of egregious malfeasance by public officials.

I didn't claim that he assaulted children on every occasion.   He did break into 12 apartments and he did sexually assault little girls.  - however looking back at my post I can see that I could have worded it better.

However IMO SY obviously have reason to believe it was the same man on every occasion.   How many children would he have to sexually attack before you would consider him to be a paedaphile?

I'd have no problems taking my kids to the ocean club.

I'd be safe in the knowledge that if I practice responsible parenting, use the day & night creche facilities when required & keep the living room sofa pushed firmly up against the wall, there would be nothing to worry about.

Maybe we should arrange a forum outing and a get together at OC?   @)(++(*   Masks not mandatory of course.
