Thanks for the post, Joanne.  I would have been interested in going but not 100%  healthwise at the mo.

The one that still makes me cry, after all these years, is Stefan Kiszko.  His Mum and Auntie did all but one of their visits to him over the years by bus. They never doubted him for a minute and it must have been so bleak for all of them.

To think of all the suffering that that family endured due to bent coppers who sat on evidence that would have exonerated him.  I believe one of them was Dick Holland from the Yorkshire Ripper case, and a case against him and others over Stefan's case collapsed.  I hope that Holland  and others involved in stitching up Stefan will be visited by the karma that they so richly deserves.

I'm just glad Stefan's name was cleared before he passed away, and glad for his Mum Charlotte that she saw him exonerated before she too passed away.

I went to the miscarriages day in Sheffield last year, I'd recommend just the afternoon session.
It was really useful and I met Martin Foran who has his conviction overturned earlier this year and this year Keith Hyatt is speaking, he served time for the murder of Rachel Manning along with Barri White, both have been totally exhonerated and someone recently has been jailed for Rachels murder.
I'm mad with myself, I took my eye off the ball and then realised it's tomorrow, so i don't know if I can afford the train fare but if I can I'll go for the afternoon.

Sounds interesting, if you are able to go please post up a report if you get time? Maybe I will make it to next year's!
