I repeat, why wasn't a reconstruction done in the days immediately after the abduction.  Oh, I forgot, Amaral thought that he, the Police, couldn't control the media and interested bystanders. 

His other comments for not doing it, about Kate being so frail, quite frankly do not wash.

IMO, from virtually the beginning with very weak suspicions and NO proof of any sort, Amaral was already set upon "getting" the Mccanns.  Same as he was with Leonor and Joao Cipriano.  Very weak suspicions and absolutely NO proof of any kind.

As is there no evidence let alone proof that the mccanns PRESSED for an early reconstruction as per your words, ie weak suspicions and no proof at all
