Disinformation about the shoes put out?  Remember Amaral is a court case proven liar.

Twas a carnival type day in Figueira.  Leonor had other young children including a toddler.  How was she to go to the police?   She thought and hoped that Joana had visited her grandma at the nearby village

Disinformation? I read it! Was part of the court judgement was it not? And it wasnt written by Amaral

As for thnking and hoping....Im sure she wasnt poor enough to not have a phone to check!

So who was it who led the investigating team at the police station and was physically situated there in charge of them?  There must have been someone directing the men on what to do next - even if he had his own office away from them.

I think that it was Tavares de Almeida who was the lead man in Portimão, at least during the Maddie investigation.
