Where was the night crèche located and who ran it ?

The CW programme had it located a few blocks away from the Ocean Club complex, is this correct ?
If so can anyone inform me as to who ran this crèche, was it a private crèche or a Mark Warner facility ?

Hello there....yes redwoods spot is correct....it was a MW facility, day crèche for 3 to 5 yr olds and at night served as a crèche,  ( not age defined) with same MW employees

The creche was directly on top of ocean Club 24 Main Reception, Rua Direita

If you play around here, on the google map thing, for Luz services, use hybrid mode to show street addresses,as well as terrain, the nearest spot is key O for post office, the creche was a way down from that to the right of the kidney shaped swimming pool which is below some larger round green park, hope that makes sense... If you go left and up you can see the Mccanns block north of the large swimming pool/tennis courts

so to save me time looking if the person left the crèche to go to a block of flats away from 5A - his route cannot have been via the front door of 5A where Tanner stated  unless he went  a detour ? is this correct or up for discussion

Location of the crèche?   

We looked at this a few months back Pat.  There are in fact various facilities, a club for the under two's located on the same campus where the McCanns resided (near tennis courts) and another club for the older children located on the first floor immediately above the main Ocean Club Reception.

I think everyone who isn't sure about the layout show read the following thread which explains where the facilities are located and include maps and photos.

Its hard to understand how the innocent tourist ended up being seen by Tanner though going east of the red spot if he was going home from the blue spot, what a detour....I think Douth of the river was asking in another  thread is this worth a thread of its own...though I imagine not much except speculation for it, similar to who was the Smithman, was he a guest at MW? Did he use the night creche? Were MW apartments down where he was spotted? Could have been anyone. Could be a man with Madeleine.

We are assuming that he walked around 270+ yards from the night creche to where JT saw him... but he might have used a hire car initially, or someone from block 5 gave him a lift, parked in block 5 car park, and he only then started his walk east to wherever he was going... pure speculation again, I know.

Yes maybe someone gave him a lift and maybe not.....AND maybe he told PJ at the time AND was maybe he was so incensed that they did nothing that maybe he hung onto an old pair of pyjamas for 6.5 years plus the clothing that he was wearing. Patiently waiting..... maybe never approaching a newspaper and making a quick buck, because maybe SY would eventually  come looking for him and his conveniently saved outfit and pyjamas, which miraculously even in that lighting are recorded with an exact colouring and pattern match......     It is all a bit too "maybe baby" - I personally think SY made the guy up....

Can you imagine how much they'd be crapping themselves if they had invented Bundleman, knowing that he isn't Innocentmen, hence SY are on to them?

I think it is a bluff but I don't think it is to do with Tanner - I read her statements and I don't think she lied - but I do think that there is  a reason behind "eliminating" bundleman......but I reckon it is temporary.
