29 years ago today (7th Aug) Jeremy Bamber murdered his entire immediate family purely for money and the freedom to be a playboy.
It would be really nice to see the victims memory respected along with the remaining relatives for once by Bamber's crank fan club .... Wishful thinking I know but maybe the Bamberettes will open their eyes to Bamber's proven guilt one day and let all the victims rest in peace!

BackgroundOn the morning of the 7th August 1985, Jeremy Bamber entered his parents farmhouse via an unsecure ground floor window before arming himself with a .22 calibre rifle which he claims to have left out the previous evening. He then proceeded to murder his adoptive parents June and Nevill Bamber, his twin nephews Daniel and Nicholas and their mother, his adoptive sister, Sheila Caffell. On the death of all five family members Jeremy Bamber stood to receive a substantial inheritance.
On the 28th October 1986, following a 19-day trial, Jeremy Bamber was found guilty by a majority of ten to two. The judge told him he was "evil, almost beyond belief" and sentenced him to five life terms, with a recommendation that he serve at least 25 years. This tariff was subsequently changed to a whole life term by the Home Secretary.
