If you're serious about printing it (or any net photo/picture, such as Blair's dire Christmas card), right click on it, then "Save Image As..." to your computer (easiest to the desktop). Find the saved file, then right click on it again without opening it up, then "Print" as in the dialog box below (using the generic print program which came with your copy of Windows XP, Vista, 7 or 8) making sure that your printer is first connected and fired up.




Locking Charlotte up in a dark shed might have contributed to the early onset of her blindness, as well as the interbreeding fault. I looked after a couple of dogs in the past, the first an Airedale which was beset with intestinal health problems during its ten year life, and latterly a GSD/Labrador cross which had an illness-free life for fifteen years, save for a two week bout of kennel cough.

Guess Charlotte will be good company for you over Christmas, Eleanor, if as I understand it your family won't be around.

Pugs' eyes are so delicate and vulnerable - one of mine had to have an eye removed this summer, and she's only 5. But it's healed beautifully and, to be honest, I'm not sure she's even noticed. You'd be amazed how many totally blind pugs are out there, coping really well.

Yes, I am sure she will be okay.  But thanks again for being so kind when I was really worried about her.  I did think it was something serious.  But she is fine and dandy and still jumping about.

Charlotte was very lucky that you found her - I know pugs aren't everyone's ideal dog! You don't often see a police-pug or a guide-pug! They do seem to cope with most things as long as you're shoving the grub in, though.

Although she isn't much of a lap dog, I do have to say.

My friend drove me nearly a hundred miles to collect her, and poor little soul, she was so excited to see people, when they let her out of the shed.
That's the bit I don't get.  She isn't at all a nuisance or a nasty dog.  No trouble at all, in fact.  But never mind.  That's over now.

You rarely get a nasty pug, although my husband mends an old lady's car (she's like something straight out of Lovejoy!) and her pug hurls itself at the window, squealing and snotting all over the glass.

It's ironic that pugs are lapdogs, bred to attract their owner's fleas onto them, when they are so fat, smelly and wriggly! And they are so disgustingly greedy - the only time mine do anything vaguely athletic is when they all dance around on their hind legs, pulling blackberries down from the brambles.
