How any psychiatrist could ever think it possible to have a mentally ill adoptive mother and adopted daughter and mass murdering adopted son all from a middle class family and not think it worthy of further investigation is beyond me.

When I say middle class I mean it's not as though they were plagued by poor housing and scrapping around to put food on the table etc.  All things that can exacerbate mental health problems.

But June's problem was depression (not religious mania, I fully understand why she found comfort in religion) and Bamber showed hardly any outward signs of his psychopathy until he murdered everyone.
