ITV Reports from 2015 about the WHF case.
« on: July 03, 2016, 01:40:05 PM »
These are repeat posts from a different section of the forum, but I thought they deserve to be seen again in a more prominent position. Carol Ann Lee is featured in the first part and refers to Sheila Caffell's best friend, Tora Tomkinson, who said she saw Sheila only a week before the murders and that she needed help to get up from a sofa...

Thanks for that, Myster. As a BBC viewer, I hadn't seen either of those pieces. I wasn't aware that Nevill had been found still clutching the phone. It must have had an exceptionally long lead!!!!

Part 1 has the news broadcaster saying the twins were shot first. Then Neville went to phone Bamber and the police.

Lots of inaccurracies here. But they had to report something the following day.

Sheila struggling to get off the sofa matches AE saying she struggled to put sugar in coffee.

Which may have been true of the last time Ann was in Sheila's company, but we have no idea when that was. She didn't see her the previous Christmas because Sheila was too poorly to visit the farm and she had no idea that Sheila was in hospital -or why- until Sheila wrote her an unexpected and allegedly one time only letter. There was the occasion of the family christening(?) during which Jeremy tried to get her to load a rifle -I can't remember exactly when it was- but if her disabilities were as described, it's unlikely that she'd have been able to hold the rifle, let alone feed it with bullets.

Thank you for posting those two video reports Myster, I don't recall watching them previously.

I must say some of the rerporting is pathetic.  The claim that the twins were shot first, that Nevill was still clutching the phone when found and that detectives heard a shot are all fallacies.

Attached below some cstills from the video.

A malicious prosecution for a crime which never existed. An exposé of egregious malfeasance by public officials.
Indeed, the truth never changes with the passage of time.

Terry Mullins obviously has great faith in his polygraph apparatus, unfortunately the evidence shows him to be wrong.

Part II ends with this...  "Bamber is nothing more than a fantasist, incapable of telling the truth."

Some further stills attached below.

They were hidden away, but I only wanted to see CAL's pretty face again!  Hope she's reading... LOL!

Not having dealt with such a major case before, it seems Essex Police were pressured into telling reporters too early what little they knew even if it was wrong, maybe with the odd Chinese whisper from bystanders also involved.

If the media were getting everything wrong the day after the massacre, then I don't know how Julie was supposed to have got all this correct information from the newspapers.

As it happens my thread shows a lot of what she knew would certainly not have been in the media the following day, she could only got this from Bamber. It's doubtful that she would have bothered reading or watching the media anyway straight after the massacre.

Don't know why this fault has happened?  I tried to open both videos in Windows 10 today and got the message below, whereas playing the same in Windows 7 yesterday was no problem.  &%+((£

Sorted.  I was using my usual Firefox web browser, which as yet in Windows 10 doesn't support certain types of live-streaming. I switched to the Windows 10 default web browser - Microsoft Edge, and the videos played ok.

Two further reports from ITV Anglia, the second of which features Witham MP Priti Patel, concerning the impact of the 2013 ECHR judgements on Jeremy Bamber...
